West Coast tours departing from Las Vegas range from quick 4-day getaways to extensive 11-day journeys with most travelers opting for 6-8 day trips. The California National Park Discovery takes guests on a 7-day route through Death Valley Sequoia and Yosemite. A TourRadar traveler noted "The itinerary was excellent giving us a chance to experience the opulence of Vegas the majesty of the giant sequoias and the raw beauty of Yosemite."

Lodging options span from established hotels like the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to nights spent camping beneath desert skies in national parks. The Vegas to San Fran tour balances 4 nights of camping with a hotel stay. More comfort-focused options like the Great Cities of the West tour feature hotel stays throughout including the Holiday Inn Express in San Francisco and Anaheim Majestic Garden in Los Angeles.
