What people love about Europe Tours
- Rome to Berlin: Piazzas, Prague & the Past
Great diversity of countries and cities but WAY too fast paced. One night in Slovenia and Poland was ridiculous and with travel time some days we spent less than 15 hours in the city. The guide was a but inexperienced so we didn't have a good description of some of the cities. Great way to make friends and see cities! Would recommend going end of August or later as it was still very hot going through the cities!!
- The Best of Eastern Europe
I didn't really know where I wanted to travel. I told the online agent that I was interested in going to Europe, but not on a rushed Contiki-style tour of seeing "all of Europe in 20 days"- I wanted to spend a good amount of time to properly see the cities I was visiting. She suggested looking into the itinerary for "The best of Eastern Europe" and I instantly loved it! She had heard very positive reviews, so I was in; I didn't even have to think twice. Ever since I discovered Tour Radar last year, I've been booking all my travels with them- the agents are very helpful!! This tour was absolutely spectacular- you gain such a sense of appreciation for these countries and their immense beauty. Every day was so exciting, as Europe has such a majestic feel. The accommodation and breakfasts in each hotel were awesome! Our tour leader Adina was very welcoming and very knowledgable. She grew up in East Berlin, so it was very fitting to see her personal side of things while exploring all the history in these countries. I am 110% very pleased to have experienced this incredible trip!!

"This was a combined trip/s from Berlin to Budapest and then Budapest to Spit so I had an experience with two different tour groups. The scenery and history is explained so well by our tour guide and learning more about the Serb/Bosnian war was invaluable. Auschwitch was cold, wet and raining and it depicted the conditions under which these people had to survive. Very moving day indeed for all. Budapest has such beautiful scenery and lovely icecream, cakes and chocolates! Spit is a walled city and I was there before the crowds which made it more comfortable for all.

"I have a terrible experience with our tour guide in this tour. This is the 1st time that I have a terrible experience with a tour guide. He was incompetent, not knowledgeable with history. On a led orientation walk, He explaination was so confusing and after the sentence, not explaining properly he would say whatever or blahblahblah so I end up googling it myself whereI am not suppose to bec we have tour guide to explain to but no , We were from another country we do not know his country so if we asked him a placeto buy stuff close to the hotel where to go he only say just google it or I don’t know or hewould just shrug his shoulder. And we do not know all details for plan the next day too too confusing. I feel I do not like to go with Intrepid again after this horrible experience

Solo travelers consistently rate our Amsterdam-to-Rome routes highly, especially praising how the guides like Rianna create natural group connections from day one. These tours handle the logistics while giving you freedom to explore - you might spend mornings with the group seeing the Rhine Valley castles, then have afternoons free to discover Munich's beer halls or wander through Florence's art galleries on your own. Another favorite starts in London and crosses the Channel into France, getting solo travelers together for wine tasting in Burgundy, hiking in the Swiss Alps and gondola rides in Venice. Our TourRadar customers often mention how quickly they form friendships over Dutch canal cruises, shared meals in traditional German halls and evening walks through Rome's piazzas.
Couples seeking romance consistently choose our river cruises along the Danube, particularly loving how they combine luxury with culture. The Vienna-to-Budapest stretch lets you start days with coffee in historic cafes, explore grand palaces together and end evenings watching city lights reflect on the river. Another favorite runs through Italy's most romantic spots - Venice's canals, Florence's Renaissance art and Rome's ancient ruins, with plenty of time built in for candlelit dinners and walks through medieval towns. The Swiss Alps tours draw couples who want to mix adventure with comfort - you can spend days hiking mountain trails or taking scenic train rides, then relax in thermal spas and cozy Alpine lodges. Our customers especially value how these tours balance structured activities with private time together.
For families exploring Europe together, our most successful tours blend education with entertainment across multiple countries. The Nostalgic Melody tour through Eastern Europe gets consistently good feedback from families, particularly for its mix of castles, river cruises and interactive city walks. Parents appreciate how the guides share local history in engaging ways - like telling medieval tales while exploring Prague Castle or explaining Venice's water-city design from gondolas. Another top pick runs through Western Europe, where families love the hands-on experiences: making Dutch cheese, watching German clockmakers and joining Italian cooking sessions. The Seine river cruises in Paris and London's Tower Bridge visits keep kids interested while parents soak in the culture.
