  • T

    Timothy

    Asked on March 13th, 2026

We have a kid of 8 years old. He is mature enough. Is it possible to include him in this tour?

    Age Range
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

For families or groups with an odd number of travellers, like your party of 5, we cannot accommodate 3 people in one room. Each standard room is designed for 2 travellers. This means that one adult would either be paired with another passenger of the same gender, or opt for a private room upgrade, which would have an associated cost.

  • C

    Cathy

    Asked on March 11th, 2026

How far is the airport from the hotel? Will we be able to join the group on day one if we arrive at 8:35 am

    Flights / Transfers
    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Your tour is scheduled to start at:
      Hampton by Hilton London City
12–20 Osborn St, London E1 6TE, United Kingdom
      (Subject to change)

The tour meeting time is 10:00 am at the hotel. From Heathrow Airport, the hotel is approximately 1–1.5 hours away depending on traffic and transport choice.

If your flight arrives at 8:35 am, it may be quite tight to arrive at the hotel by the 10:00 am meeting time once you factor in immigration, baggage claim and travel into the city. Because of this, we generally recommend arriving the day before to avoid any delays.

However, you are still welcome to join the group on Day 1 if you are able to reach the hotel by the meeting time.

  • J

    Jack

    Asked on March 7th, 2026

Do you can help me to include the flights and transportation? how much extra is it?

    Flights / Transfers
    Price / Availability
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

The Classic Europe tour price includes all ground transportation as part of the itinerary, including travel by coach between cities and transfers as listed in the itinerary. Flights to and from the tour's start and end points are not included in the tour price.

You are welcome to book your flights separately based on your preferred dates and departure airport. Prices for flights vary depending on the airline, time of booking, and season, so it's best to check current rates with your chosen airline or a flight comparison website.

We also no longer assist with transfers. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If you prefer a transfer service, you can easily book through Welcome Pickups, a user-friendly platform with competitive prices.

  • J

    Josh

    Asked on February 28th, 2026

Is the trip from London to Paris via the Chunnel?

    Transport
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

That would depend. The crossing to Paris will either be through the Tunnel or via Ferry, depending on what is available (and the best Option) at the time of crossing. But for disclosure, most of the crossing option in the past are primarily through Ferry.

  • T

    Tom

    Asked on February 26th, 2026

Can you give the location of the starting point? We are coming from australia and prior to join the group. will stay in Ireland for a week. If you provide the starting point, we can fly to the airport from Dublin to the nearest London airport of the starting point.

    Flights / Transfers
    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

For your Classic Europe tour, the itinerary both starts and ends in London.

      Start of tour:
Hotel in London at 10:00 AM on first day

      End of tour:
Hotel in London at 10:00 AM on last day

At this stage, the exact hotel hasn't been finalized yet. The most up-to-date information will be available around 90–60 days before departure and on your confirmed booking, as it can vary by departure. Your Tour Leader Announcement (TLA) will provide the confirmed hotel details 10–15 days prior to your tour. In the meantime, most hotels for this tour are likely to be in central London / city center areas, so for planning your flight from Dublin, the nearest London airports would usually be:

London Heathrow (LHR) – about 30–60 minutes from central London by train or taxi
London Gatwick (LGW) – around 45–90 minutes from central London by train or taxi
London City Airport (LCY) – closer to the city center, about 20–30 minutes by taxi or public transport

How you accocate seat for the coach ? Will you provide seat no. few days before start the trip ? Same seat will be for the whole trip ? Also average how many KM have to walk a day ? We are 70 and 65 years old but healthy.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

The seats in the Coach will be assigned on a rotation basis by the Tour Leader. So technically, every time the group travels to another location, the seat assignments will be rotated.

    • T

      Tom

      TravelerWritten March 2026

Average how many hours have to walk every day as we are 70 and 65 years old, but body fit so far.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

We believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. Many of the cities you visit are vast and old, often with steps and cobblestones. Our walking tours can last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the history of these fascinating places, but you do require a certain level of fitness to enjoy your tour to its fullest.

What are the flights that I have to buy if I want to do the whole trip, from Washington DC, US, and comeback from London at the end of the trip, also the trips that I will need while being at Europe

    Flights / Transfers
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

What we offer are Package Tours with Pre-set Itineraries. You may review the Tour Pages to check the inclusions and the entire Itinerary of the tour that you are interested in.

For International Flights, you may book Flights from your Country of Origin and land in London, as long as you can arrive in London on Day 1 of the tour or at least a day early, then that would be perfect. Same with at the end of the tour, you may book a flight from London and back to your Home Country.

Who is responsible for all the luggage handling?? We are 78 & 76 yrs. old and on our last extended trip we were held responsible and we had quite a bit of trouble at our age!!! Will NOT go through that again.

    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

Guests are responsible for handling their own luggage throughout the tour. This includes lifting your suitcase on and off the coach and managing it at hotels. Our tour leaders are not able to provide physical assistance, as they need to focus on guiding the group and managing the day-to-day logistics of the tour.

That said, hotel staff are often available to assist with luggage, particularly at check-in and check-out, and many guests do find help this way. We also strongly recommend travelling with one manageable-sized suitcase that you feel confident lifting, as this makes a big difference to overall comfort.

In terms of mobility and fitness, our tours involve:

Regular walking, including city sightseeing and orientation walks
Occasional stairs and uneven surfaces (such as cobblestones)
Busy travel days with hotel changes

Because of this, it's important that guests are able to move independently and manage their luggage without assistance from staff.

I have around 12 pax to take this trip so they are curios about hotels.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

For our Tours, we use Hotels that ranges from 2-4 Stars. Although in reality it is mostly 3-4 stars but there are locations that we use Heritage Hotels (usually 2 stars) that is booked to add to the overall experience of the tour's itinerary. Hotels are contracted closer to the departure and if you have a departure in mind, as long as it is within 90 Days from today, we can check the contracted Hotels and provide you some names as an example.
