    Asked on May 11th, 2026

I have been able to book my flights for early June. Therefore I will do the 14 day tour starting 7th of June to 20th June will have to be the one. I understand you have reserved a spot for me. I have transferred funds to my bank card, let's hope this clears tomorrow. In which case let's please process the payment. Let me know the best way to do it. Also the twin share which I opted for on the link of the tour should be $4300 with the discount, is that correct? I noticed a higher $4900 in the quotation. Please look into this for me.

I'd like to know the paying options for this package.

    Payments
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

As a travel agent you currently have three options to process a payment through TourRadar:

      1. **Generate a Payment Link** - You as the travel agent can generate a secure payment link and share it with your client. The client then completes the payment directly through that link, ensuring their card details are entered by them personally.

      2. **Enter the Client's Credit Card** - You can manually input the client's credit card details at checkout. This is done within the TourRadar booking flow on the agent's side.

      3. **Use the Agency/Company Card** - You can use the agency or company card that has been pre-loaded into the TA Partner Portal to complete the payment on the client's behalf.

Also, please note that when booking, the deposit must be paid in full from a single credit card — split payments are not supported at the time of booking

    Asked on May 3rd, 2026

I am planing to do the classic tour in August. I am an Egyptian living in USA; in this situation i have to apply to European visa, as a part of the application i have to provide detailed itinerary including a proof of accommodation and transportation, including the dates of staying. I got the visa before and i am just back from spain, it should be guaranteed to get it. Would you provide me detailed itenrary including a proof of staying and transportaion under my name to apply for the visa? I can provide you all the documents needed including my last Schengen visa.

    Visa
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

While we are not a visa agency, we can definitely provide visa supporting documents to assist with your application. Once your booking is confirmed and fully paid, ideally around 3–4 months prior to departure, we can issue a visa support letter confirming your booking and travel dates, along with everything else needed by the embassy/consulate.

In terms of the visa requirement, this will depend on the passport you will be traveling with. If you are using an Egyptian passport, you will generally need to apply for a Schengen visa, whereas if you are traveling on a US passport, the requirements may be different for short stays. Since you mentioned you are an Egyptian living in the USA, it will depend on which passport you plan to use for the trip.

Please note that while we aim to provide accurate guidance, we are not a registered visa agency. We strongly recommend confirming this information with a reputable travel or visa agent, as entry requirements can change unexpectedly.

    Asked on April 30th, 2026

Do Ethiopian citizens have visa requirements to join this tour and may also require a Letter of Invitation (LOI)?

    Visa
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

We understand how important visa preparation is, especially when travelling from Ethiopia. Before we are able to provide any visa supporting documents, the tour booking must first be completed and fully paid. Once your booking is confirmed, we will be very happy to assist you with all the necessary documentation to support your visa application.

    • T

      Terry

      TravelerWritten May 2026

In case my visa application is rejected, could you please confirm what your refund policy is? Would I be eligible for a full or partial refund? Are there any conditions or fees applied in the event of a visa refusal? Is it possible to receive any preliminary or provisional booking document that could help support my visa application before making the full payment? After completing the booking and full payment, will you be able to provide an official invitation letter and all other documents required by the Embassy to support my visa application?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

If your visa is refused, you must inform us as soon as possible. Standard Terms and Conditions will apply. The deposit is non-refundable in all cases. Depending on how close it is to the departure date, cancellation charges may apply. In some cases, you may be able to move your booking to a later departure date, subject to availability and amendment fees. Yes, cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of your cancellation. The closer to departure, the higher the cancellation charges may be. We are not able to provide provisional or reservation-only documents for visa applications. Documents can only be issued once the booking is fully paid and confirmed. Once your booking is fully paid, we can provide visa support documents, which may include: Booking confirmation with full payment details, Full tour itinerary, Hotel confirmations (where applicable), Additional supporting documents if required by the embassy.

    • T

      Terry

      TravelerWritten May 2026

Do you provide a formal invitation letter specifically required for Schengen or UK visa applications? In the event of a visa refusal, is it possible to postpone the booking to a later departure date without significant penalties? Do you offer any visa-refusal protection option, insurance, or flexible booking policy that could reduce the financial risk in case the visa is not approved?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

We are able to provide standard supporting documentation for visa applications, which typically includes: Booking confirmation with full payment details, Full tour itinerary, Hotel confirmations with your name (where applicable). We do not issue formal invitation letters outside of these standard travel documents, however I can check with our Operations Team to see if anything additional can be provided in your case, although this is not guaranteed. In the event of a visa refusal, it may be possible to move your booking to a later departure date. This would depend on availability and would be subject to our standard amendment policy. Expat Explore Travel do not currently offer a visa-refusal protection product or insurance. However, TourRadar does offer travel insurance options. Please note that any changes to your booking would still be handled under our normal amendment terms. For your reference, if a booking is already active, the standard amendment fees are as follows: 60 days or more before departure: No amendment fee, 45 - 59 days before departure: 20% of tour cost, 30 - 44 days before departure: 40% of tour cost, 15 - 29 days before departure: 70% of tour cost, 14 days or less before departure: 100% of tour cost.

Can I book for 1 adult and 2 children (9 and 16 years old)?

    Age Range
    Group size
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

Minors under the age of 18 cannot be roomed with another minor or traveller outside of your booking. We require at least 2 adults and 2 children for this type of arrangement. This ensures that appropriate rooming can be arranged, with each child sharing only with an accompanying adult.

Our itineraries are designed for adult travellers and are not specifically child-focused. This includes long driving days, full sightseeing schedules, and certain activities that may include alcohol and are therefore not suitable for minors.

    Asked on April 23rd, 2026

I'm interested in booking for my 2 daughters, is there a payment plan?

    Payments
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

In general, we do offer flexible payment options, meaning you can usually secure a spot with a deposit and pay the remaining balance later in installments or by a final due date.

However, since you're looking at the June 7th departure, this falls within the operator's 60-day window before departure, which means full payment is required to confirm the booking.

    • D

      Debra

      TravelerWritten April 2026

Could it be possible to make two payments and pay off before June?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

For any tours booked within 60 days prior to departure, we require full payment at the time of booking. Unfortunately, it is not possible to split the payment into multiple installments in this case.

    Asked on April 15th, 2026

Do you have a tour option starting and ending in Germany, covering classical western Europe, for 10 to 15 days?

    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

At present, Expat Explore does not offer a 10–15 day tour that both starts and ends in Germany while covering classical Western Europe.

However, we do have several excellent alternatives that include Germany as part of a wider European itinerary:

Best of Europe (22 days) – Covers multiple highlights across Western and Central Europe including Germany (such as Berlin and the Rhine Valley), as well as France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. This tour starts and ends in London.

Ultimate Europe (26 days) – A more extensive journey covering Western, Central, and Southern Europe, including Germany. This tour starts and ends in Amsterdam.

European Highlights (10 days) – A shorter itinerary that includes Germany among other destinations, but this tour starts in Rome rather than Germany.

If you are specifically looking for a shorter itinerary based in Germany, I would be happy to help suggest the closest available alternatives or assist you in finding the best departure point that suits your travel plans.

i am not quite understanding why the June 14-27 price jumped $140 per person to $3185 and the July bookings are still at $3045. Am i missing something? I am getting ready to book a trip for 4 people and I want the best price possible. I dont want to book at $3185 then tomorrow see that the price has gone down. I am sure you can understand. Thats $760 that could be spent on extra excursions.

Our pricing works on a tiered "bucket" system, which means each departure date has a limited number of seats available at different price levels. Once the lower-priced seats in a specific departure sell out, the system automatically moves to the next price tier for that date. This is why one departure can appear higher than another, even when they are close together in the calendar.

Because of this structure, prices can differ between dates and can also change depending on availability at the time of booking. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold or guarantee a lower tier once it has sold out, and prices are always confirmed at the point of booking.

If you are planning for four travellers, I would recommend securing your preferred date as early as possible to lock in the current available rate and avoid any further changes as availability shifts.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten April 2026

Our cancellation policy is based on how far in advance you cancel prior to your departure date. We also offer a 10-day money-back guarantee from the time of booking, where you can cancel for a full refund.

After that period, the following cancellation charges apply:

60 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit
45–59 days before departure: 20% of the tour cost
30–44 days before departure: 40% of the tour cost
15–29 days before departure: 70% of the tour cost
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the tour cost

If you're still in the planning stage, you can also use the 48-hour hold option on our website to secure your spot and current price while you finalize your plans.
