in my opinion the so called according to Tom Bowing he wrote article in Exodus supplement issued in March 2013 the ''toughest trek in Europe''is overated. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? The Monte Cinto was challenging, the Cirque De La Solitude good,Col De Bavella was good, the walk had some great views. What did you think of your group leader?okDo you have any advice for potential travellers?Too many people who were on gr20 had not prepared themselves for the gr20 consequently they slowed the rest of the group down. Please read details of the walk and prepare yourself. Is there anything else you would like to add?i found the gr20 overated i appreciate Exodus as a business need to get numbers on the walks.I put myself through alot of preparation for the gr20 because i was told there would be a lot of young people on the walk, young leaders the pace would be fast but no being from the older generation i had no problem keeping behind the leaders all through the walks wish some of the others had done the same.

As promised a very tough trip with spectacular sceneryWhat did you think of your group leader? Both leaders were very competent and worked well as a team. They kept the holiday fun with just the right amount of light steerage when necessary even though they had some problems / issues which they had to deal with.Do you have any advice for potential travellers? To get the most out of the holiday make sure you do your trainingIs there anything else you would like to add?Be ready for many an experience.

Tough trek but worth every effort spend during the trip. Ever changing landscapes one more spectacular than the others. Nice to have a little more comfort than the classical GR20 mountain huts. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? The last day was the toughest but also the most scenic. What did you think of your group leader? Our two leaders Pascal and Ruedy were great and very funny.Do you have any advice for potential travellers?Do not underestimate the GR20

We were lucky & had 2 excellent guides for 4 people (late cancellations). The holiday was hard enough to provide a test but well planned with the central break in Corte. The guide to participant ratio allowed the group to be split which really helped. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? The Cirque due solitude is easy scrambling but kept my pulse up. I liked the old but comfortable hotel in Corte & the train trip I did on the rest day. Monte Renoso & the pozzetta was a good day. The pools to escape the heat. What did you think of your group leader? Both were very good. Alex Doaga, a Rumanian has been with Exodus for ages. The young lady mountaineer of spanish extraction was highly competent (her first Exodus trip)Do you have any advice for potential travellers?Heat management was an issue. Take compeed for blisters. Is there anything else you would like to add?The walk is so well known so the N section can be overcrowded. However its still a walk worth doing & has a tremendous variety of scenery
