The tour was well planned and executed--excellent guides, one of whom went beyond the call of duty to help us out, but I have two suggestions, one small, one major. Small: we were never given water by any of our drivers. Most tours I've been on do this, and it's very helpful. Major: we went to Monreale and Chefalu on one of our extra days. They are both amazing places (we didn't have enough time, esp. in Monreale), and I think extending this tour by two days and including these cities would make it more complete. Everyone in our group stayed 10 days (i.e. 2 extra), and in our case it cost more than $800 for the hotel and the tour of those 2 cities. Had those extra nights+tour been included its part of our main tour, I'm sure it would have been more cost effective.
