  Do you offer pre/post accommodations in Rome as there are several additional attractions in the city they would like to visit on their own time?

    We do not arrange pre- or post-tour accommodation in Rome for this tour, so you would need to arrange any additional nights separately.
    
    If you are still considering options, the Taste of Italy tour also includes time in Rome, and there are currently 2 seats left for this departure.
    
    Regarding the optional excursions in Rome, the following are available:
    
    Colosseum & Roman Forum Guided Tour
    Vatican Guided Tour
    
    These excursions have booking deadlines and are unfortunately no longer available for pre-booking.
    
    However, other optional excursions may still be available and can be booked directly with your tour leader during the tour. Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

    If you're travelling solo and would like a Private Room Upgrade (Single Supplement), the cost varies depending on the departure date and availability. The easiest way to check the exact price is to proceed through the booking process on our website up to the checkout page. There, you'll be able to see the tour price along with any available add-ons, including the Private Room Upgrade.
    
    Regarding your flights, the tour starts in Rome, Italy and ends in Vatican City. Although the tour officially ends in Vatican City, it's located within Rome, so you'll typically book both your arrival and departure flights to and from Rome (Fiumicino Airport - FCO), which is the main international airport serving the city.

  Can you accommodate children ages 14, 12 and 3 on your tours?

    Unfortunately, the tour operators are not able to accommodate children of such a young age on their scheduled group tours. However, the best option would be to reach out to tour operators who can create a custom private package that can accommodate younger travelers.

    Budget is around $1000 to 1200 per person. Interested in Italy with coverage of Rome (Colosseum, St. Peter's Square, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus), Florence (Leaning Tower of Pisa, Square of Miracles), Venice (Gondola Experience, Excursion to Murano and Burano islands to see glass-blowing and lace-making) and back to Rome.

  If I were to swap tours from the one we have booked to the this 7 day one would we lose the deposit we paid for the other tour or could we transfer our deposit to this one.

    If you already have a confirmed booking, you may request for a Schedule Change or a Tour Change even and your deposit will still be applied to the new tour.
    
    However, please note that if you are requesting for a change less than 90 Days before the active Tour's start date, amendment fees are applied.

  What is your cancellation policy for this tour?

    If you or any member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed tour, you must notify us in writing. Your cancellation will only take effect once we have received this notice.
    
    Cancellation charges are applied based on how far in advance of departure the notice is received, as follows:
    
    60 days or more – loss of deposit
    45–59 days – 20% of the tour cost
    30–44 days – 40% of the tour cost
    15–29 days – 70% of the tour cost
    14 days or less – 100% of the tour cost
    
    Please note that certain arrangements may not be amendable after confirmation, and any changes or cancellations could incur a charge of up to 100% for that part of the booking in addition to the above. If your reason for cancellation is covered by your travel insurance, you may be able to claim these costs back. Where possible, we will deduct cancellation charges from any payments you have already made.

    Our Tours only offer Twin Share Accommodations, this means 2 people per room only. For your Family of 3, the setup will be 1 Adult and your child (10-17) will share 1 room, while the other adult can be paired with another traveler of the same gender, or get a Private Room Upgrade (limited availability per departure) so that he/she will not have a roommate.

    Venice Gondola Ride
    A gondola ride is the perfect way to appreciate the beauty and charm of Venice. Feel part of an ancient Venetian tradition and experience Venice as the locals have for more than a thousand years. Your visit isn't complete until you have experienced this! Please Note: Gondolas can take up to 5 people, so you will be sharing your experience with other members of your Expat Explore group.     Experience a wonderful evening in Montecatini complete with a Tuscan dinner and scenic views! Enjoy a return trip to Montecatini Alto on the Montecatini Funicular and admire the views of Montecatini Terme along the way. Arrive at the restaurant and sit down for a three-course meal. Select your choice of a starter and main and savour the authentic Tuscan flavours! Vegetarian options are available and the tour leader will escort the group throughout the evening.     Local flights are not required for the tour, as all transportation during the tour is included and travel is by coach.
    
    You will only need to arrange flights to and from Italy.
