The company Albania Inbound is not professionally run, myself and other parties received little if any information once the tour was booked. With no finalised itinerary, throughout the trip's events and accommodation came as a surprise and it appeared we had different information to the tour guide. I was genuinely worried the that I wouldn't be collected from the tour; allowing people to stay at any hotel in Tirana means that it is impossible to collect everyone at 9am - I raised this and got reassurance but haven't seen a mechanism by which they would otherwise collect start/finish location - I had to prompt the tour guide that I needed an alternate drop off point on the drive back.. Taking tour payments at the side of the road (not an office or at the hotel) says it all! Unfortunately I didn't feel relaxed and able to take in all the sites of Albania (which the 5 days should have covered) as out tour guide marched on through attractions, on average 25m ahead of me, so how he was aware of everyone safety is unknown and didn't acknowledge that we wanted to look at things, take photos and be "tourists". Sadly he was also only enthusiastic about the thing he was enthusiastic about, questions were either answered with harsh answers or "I don't know". There was no nightly/daily briefing about what to expect and what to have to hand (an idea about footwear would of helped) and each day despite enjoying an included breakfast, we started out in silence on the minibus. Please pick another operator because Albania is beautiful and should be explored, with constant sunshine and cheap food and drink there is no reason not to go.Show more

Participants are picked up from their respective accommodations between 08:50 and 09:10. In your case, there were only five participants and three pickup locations, and we experienced no issues or delays during the collection process. Concerning the payment that was made outside the office, only one customer needed to pay for additional accommodation that was not included in the original booking. To avoid unnecessary delays and save time, we arranged for a staff member to meet the customer outside the building with a portable card payment terminal rather than requiring them to come up to our office on the eighth floor. With regard to your comments about the tour guide, Anest is one of our most experienced and knowledgeable guides.
