The tour is amazing! I absolutely loved it! All three days are well designed and packed. For the first sacred valley day, I liked the salt mine and ollantaytambo incan site the most. The two day inca trail is fantastic. The first day"s hike, about six hours, is tough but totally worth it. The second day is Machu Picchu, and I added the WaynaPicchu hike, which to me personality the best part of the trip. It took us two and half hours up and down. the stairs and trail.up are very challenging, but totally doable. You just need to take your time and take breaks. But both the journey and the views on top are just spectacular. All of my guides are great. René for the first day is very knowledgeable. So are Gary and a William for the second day. And they are fun! The only thing I would say is that the.guides may touch base late the night before. If you are anxious, reach out to the head office and they will tell you the names and WhatsApp numbers of the guides and you can touch base directly yourself. That's what I did. All in all. Amazing experience.Show more

Trexperience tour I rarely write reviews unless they are so good I want to publicly send kudos to the company, or because they are so bad, I want to warn others. If you don’t mind a lack of organization & information, changes, a totally one star crappy cheap hotel… endless apologies from the management when confronted after the fact then this one is the one for you. If you expect clear timely communication, a full guide of information, consistency, quality hotels… educated guides do NOT pick this one. I arrived and went to a hotel suggested by the company , then the next day they told me to move to another hotel …. Of lesser value, a total inconvenience and for no reason. I was a block or two from Where they wanted me to move to. It clearly was a step down in quality so it obviously was to benefit the company and not the convenience of the customer. So from Night one this tour was unsatisfactory. I had no information about what and where exactly we were going each day. It seemed the general information was repeated at each location so I could have given the speech by the third location. Okay there was some specific info for the various sites clearly but a lot of repetition. Another participant was going on to hike the Inca trail for 4 days and also reported feeling he was in the dark with the lack of clear information for his portion. It wasn’t just me!! I requested a refund for the hotel booked in Machu Picchu ( about on par with a A youth hostel) I got endless excuses about how they were going to check with the hotel and get back to me. But the hotel wasn’t the problem the tour booking company chose it. So the run around distraction was just that a delay to offer a disgruntled customer a proper refund for the obvious lack of a quality choice by this company (for the price I paid.) The guide Katia really worked hard and is clearly giving her best. She was a bit impatient at times but a lovely person clearly dedicated to her job.Show more
