We had an awesome time using Bindlestiff Tours (guide Joel) for the Death Valley experience. Joel is so knowledgeable of the history and went above and beyond to make our experience one we won't forget. We will definitely be returning.

Firstly, our trip to India and Nepal was great. We saw so many sights, experienced 2 different cultures and ate Indian and Nepali food. Wonderful! Our driver and sometimes guide, Prakesh Sharma was very good. He drove us through heavy traffic and over some terrible roads with patience And safety. He is very personable and a good person to spend time with. He always put our wishes first. He is also very caring. When Carol got sick, he didn’t go off duty that night until the Dr had left and we knew she would be OK. We do have some suggestions: 1) Limit your departures to one or two a week instead of every day. That way you could make Sure there are enough travellers to fill A bus and not be sending people off 2 at a time with a driver. While there are pros and cons to being on a bus vs a driver, we were expecting to travel by bus and would have preferred that for the sociability of meeting other travellers, if nothing else. We also expected that there would be a guide with the group for the whole trip And not different guides in different cities. Some of the guides told us that Tourradar doesn’t pay them and they depend only on tips. This puts pressure on the traveller to tip more than they really want to. 2) Don’t take people to Ele-jungle outside of Jaipur. A much better experience( and less expensive) would have been to ride on an elephant up to the Amér Palace at Jaipur. 3) you state in your website that travellers will need about $200 US for expenses. You clearly state the things that are extra( elephant ride, safari at Chitwan and plane ride over Kathmandu valley). However, the way the tour is described, it sounds like at least some admissions are included. in fact, none were. We spent more like $500 On admissions and meals. When you say that we would be having supper Chitwan at the lodge, it sounds like it is included but it is not. While nothing in India or Nepal is very expensive and it was not a big hardship to pay all the admissions, we felt quite mislead by your description of the tour. We had no complaints about the hotels we stayed at. One thing about the itinerary I would suggest would be to have 2 nights in either Chitwan or Pokhara and reduce the # of nights in Kathmandu from 3 to 2. Having the flight from Kathmandu to Dehli at the end was good since it takes a very long time to travel a given distance in India

What our customers ask about Fully Guided Tours & Trips
What are fully guided accommodations like?
You'll stay in comfortable 3-5 star hotels chosen for their location and quality. In Japan, this means places like the Star Gate Hotel near Kansai Airport and Osaka Castle Hotel. If you're headed to Egypt, you'll split your time between nice hotels like the Tolip Golden Plaza in Cairo and boats for your Nile cruise. One happy traveler put it well: "The hotels throughout the tour were all clean and comfortable. Our accommodation was everywhere acceptable and in nice boutique hotels."
How do you get around on fully guided tours?
Your guide takes care of all the travel details, so you can relax. You'll ride in comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles - small vans for smaller groups or larger buses when needed. In India, for example, groups of 4-5 travel in Toyota Innovas. Some trips mix it up with special travel experiences, like taking an overnight train in Vietnam or cruising down the Nile in Egypt. Your guide handles everything, including making sure your bags get to your room.
How active are fully guided tours?
It really depends on the tour, but most keep things at an easy to moderate level. You might walk for 2-3 hours on city tours, climb some stairs at temples or museums, or take optional hikes. In Japan, for instance, the Mount Fuji visit includes some walking at 7,546 feet (2,300m). Your guide will make sure the pace works for everyone in the group, and you'll have plenty of downtime at your hotel to rest up between activities.
How much free time do you get on fully guided tours?
You typically get 2-4 hours of free time each day to explore on your own. In India, for example, many tours do sightseeing in the morning and leave afternoons open. Your guide (travelers often mention guides like Neeraj) will suggest great things to do during your free time. Some tours also offer optional activities - like visiting the Abu Simbel temples in Egypt - if you want to add more to your day.
When's the best time to take a fully guided tour?
It really depends where you're going. Vietnam is best from October to March when you'll miss the monsoon season. Morocco shines in spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) when the weather is warm but not too hot. As one traveler who went to Vietnam shared: "We went in April and had perfect weather - not too hot or rainy, making the outdoor activities much more enjoyable."
