  We have been travelling and unable to provide a review until now. The Nile tour that we did was excellent. We had a great tour leader Nabil Shohdy, who had fantastic in depth knowledge of Egypt's history, the story behind the pyramids, temples, the culture and the people. He answered numerous questions, built a cohesion and camaraderie between group member (his "tigers") establishing a what's app communication group which has continued post tour. We can highly recommend this tour and, in particular, the tour guide Nabil (tiger).Show more

  Hotel 1/5 Jaz Pyramids Resorts: 2/5, rude bellman dropping my luggage and expecting tips. Broken doors and bug found on blanket. Request takes 50 minutes for them to respond. Basma Hotel Aswan: 0/5 Absolutely horrible hotel. Not clean, gross brownish standing water in bathtub. After a long day, just want to shower and go to sleep but stuck calling front desk to fix this issue for over an hour. Repairmen rude and slammed door without explanation and just left at 2am. Jaz Crown Prince: 3/5 Decent cruise ship, nice room attendant but has broken drawers that never got fixed. Dining waiter was excellent but afternoon tea server was absolutely rude and has attitude. Gravity Hotel: 2/5 Beautiful grounds but how do you run out of capacity and forcing 3 couples into a single villa with only two bathrooms? One key for 6 people to share?!? Key does not even work as front door cannot be unlocked with it. Door also required key from inside which is a safety hazard. Even their engineering team cannot open it. Two bedrooms has no working outlet. Power went out during dinner and rude bellman expecting tip. Tour Bus: 1/5 Our tour bus was cramped with no suspension and top speed of 100-110 kilometer per hour. Other group has luxury Mercedes Tour bus which ride much better and faster. We leave earlier but arrived later due to top speed and with aching back and knees due to small seats and bad suspension. Guide (Ash) 4/5: Ash was decent and tried his best. Not sure if his advice against tipping is worth it. Although we tipped $55 upfront and Ash said that the company will spread the tip amount all the hotel and cruise staff, I feel like that they still expect tip. Probably better if we just tip them ourselves so they don't damage our luggage or give us attitude when they see us not tipping.Show more

Properties like Jaz Pyramids Resort, Basma Hotel Aswan, and Gravity Hotel Hurghada typically maintain high guest satisfaction scores (often averaging 8.0 to 8.6+ out of 10), which is why they are chosen. However, reading your account makes it clear that the service and room conditions you experienced during this stay did not reflect those standards. We sincerely apologize for the unacceptable issues you encountered: Hotel Maintenance & Staff Behavior: The delays in service, attitude from luggage staff, the plumbing failure and late-night disruption at Basma Hotel, and the room defect issues are completely contrary to the standard of hospitality our guests should receive. Gravity Hotel Villa Arrangement: Splitting six adults across a single villa with access issues, lock malfunctions, and power disruptions is unacceptable. We are taking this up directly with the hotel management to investigate why standard rooming was compromised and how this occurred. Transportation & Speed Regulation: While long driving distances across Egypt require regulated safety governors and police convoy limits (which restrict bus speeds for passenger safety), comfort should never be compromised. Your feedback regarding the bus seating, suspension, and space has been escalated to our transport operations team for review and fleet inspection. Tipping Transparency: We appreciate your feedback regarding the upfront tipping kitty. It is designed to relieve travelers from the constant stress of everyday tipping at stops, cruises, and hotels. However, your feedback demonstrates where local staff expectations still intruded on your experience, and we will work with our guides to handle this more clearly and effectively. Your feedback has been passed directly to our senior management and local operations team in Egypt so these issues can be addressed with each respective supplier. We truly appreciate the time you took to highlight these shortcomings so we can take direct action.

  George was our amazing tour guide. He was not only knowledgeable and entertaining, he tailored the tour to our interests. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. I hurt my knee before the trip but George made sure I was able to see everything anyway, get in and out of the van safely, and got me hotel rooms that were easier for me to use. He even found glue at 2 in the morning for another tour member who had broken his glasses! I would love to take another tour of Egypt with George as my guide!Show more

  I can’t say enough good things about this trip! From the moment I landed in Cairo, everything was taken care of. Transportation, hotels, meals, the Nile cruise, even getting my room keys. I literally didn’t have to worry about a thing. TourRadar did an awesome job putting this whole experience together. But what really made this trip special was our guide, Mina Malik. He started out as our tour guide, but by the end of the trip, he was our friend. He absolutely loves Egyptian history, and you can tell. He had some incredible stories about every temple we visited and made sure we saw all the important features of each temple / museum we visited . He really brought the history to life. And Mina didn’t just show us around. He looked out for us the entire trip. Whether it was hotels keys, food, transportation, , luggage, wake up calls, or whatever else came up, he was always there making sure everyone was taken care of. Just an all around great guy who genuinely cares about what he does and the people he’s with. As for Egypt itself, what an amazing country! The history is unbelievable, but what really surprised me was how wonderful and welcoming the Egyptian people were. As an American, I would absolutely recommend this trip to other Americans. If you’ve ever thought about visiting Egypt, go! Don’t hesitate. I had an incredible time, met some amazing people, and made memories I’ll never forget. Huge shoutout to Mina Malik for making this trip so special. If you get him as your guide, you’re in good hands! 10/10 experience. I’d do it all over again!Show more

  Too many early mornings without enough rest in between made the trip unpleasant. Accomadation was generally was only 3* and the Nile cruise was on an old boat and the rooms were not clean. The long trip to the resort on the Red Sea was so unnecessary and unpleasant. Would have preferred returning to Cairo sooner to explore the museum at leisure rather than a rushed visit.   This tour was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Travelling as two young Australian girls, I couldn’t have felt safer. Every part of the tour was extremely efficient from the moment we stepped off the plane. Mina Malik our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and helpful. His enthusiasm and love of Egypt shines through in his explanations. This tour was extremely detailed and I feel as though I have truely experienced all of Egypt. Hurgadha was amazing, we wish we spent an extra night here. Definitely the tour to book! 10/10Show more
