Just returned from the most amazing holiday ever. Family of 6 ranging from 19 to 80, and we cannot thank Hany and the team from Timeless tours enough.

We added an extra day at the start of the trip - sorted no problem. Arrival Cairo airport - company rep met us airside and guided us through and onto the minibus.
All dealings with hotels, cruise ships, visits, busses etc etc, were all handled by the company. All we had to do was keep an eye on my mother, and enjoy the trip.
The hardest part of the trip was the overnight train to Luxor which can be a challenge. We decided to upgrade the return leg and stay an extra night in Aswan, and then fly back to Cairo the following morning.
The Company busses were all new, air conditioned, spotless and fitted with proper seatbelts.
The cruise ship we sailed on (MS Nile Style) was amazing, rooms spotless, beds super comfy, and food was fabulous. Movenpick hotel in Cairo was the same.
Ash our Egyptologist was brilliant (thank you so much Ash), so knowledgeable about the ancient antiquities and sites, and brilliant at keeping us altogether to make each day was well organised, making sure we got the absolute maximum out of every thing we did. Yes there were early mornings, but in general we were back on the ship for lunch and time to relax each afternoon.
We never felt any concerns re security. There is a high presence of police and security personnel at all of the major sites, around the hotels, and on board, not threatening, but there if/when you look for it. It felt reassuring that security is taken seariously in the country.
Finally, as I've said Timeless Tours took care of everything for us, made the whole trip seamless, nothing seemed like it was too much trouble. When we did make changes we weren't ripped off, with the additional costs for extra nights, changed flights etc being cheaper than we could find online for ourselves. Couldn't ask for more, and we're already in discussions to book a cruise from Aswan to Abu Simbel for next year.
I wish I could pack and take home our tour guide Ash. He was such a delightful treasure to have for our week long tour of Egypt. Our transfer from airport was effortless and check in to hotel was smooth. We had only 1 tour guide for the entire trip and that was so much better than our last visit using another company
that used multiple guides. ASH was our english speaking guide and he made the trip unforgettable. His professionalism stood out to me most. Always on time, got our group moving in and out of cities with ease, made us feel safe, and his knowledge of ancient Egypt was second to none. I couldn't have asked for a better guide as he explained everything in a modern take on egyptology as well as the old way. He let us decide what made more sense but his views on the human story align with mine and we had an instant connection that made the tour feel custom made for my family and I.
Wonders of the pharaohs was a great trip. Hotels were pretty good, Cairo - Oasis was a lot of fun.. service fantastic, food was good. Aswan - Basma had amazing views and great atmosphere..food was good. Nile River Cruise - The Symphony was a typical nile cruiser, clean, the service was FANTASTIC, food was pretty good, and it was a wonderful experience. The Nile Cruise Symphony made the trip unbelievable.. thank you to a great crew. Hurgada - Gravity Water park.. so much to do there. Water park was fun, beach relaxing, 2 giant pools. FOOD WAS AWFUL. - But.. overall good hotel.
I give Timeless Travel 2 thumbs up and I highly recommend them for your Egypt vacation. We will be using them again for sure. Thank you Hany and ASH, we look forward to reconnecting again.

Since I’ve studied Egyptian history for years, the sites and stories were pretty much as expected, but not without surprises and enchantments in real life. The island of Philae, for one, took my breath away. I was also completely enamored of the bus rides through the deserts. Of course I would recommend going to Egypt and this trip hits basically every site you would want to see if it’s your first time. (If you care about history or engineering at all, book the add-on trip to Abu Simbel. It really is a marvel of modern and ancient engineering.)
Since this was my first time traveling solo, I was a little apprehensive so for anyone out there worried about it, someone does meet you at the airport (with a tour group sign) and help you get through Egyptian customs. The company does also provide service to the airport at the beginning and end of the trip, no matter the hour (my return flight departed at 3:30am).
There was some drama between our group and the tour company, but most of it did not really affect me so I have few complaints. More importantly, our group adored our tour guide Ash, and for good reason.
Ash was a fixer.
When one of our group forgot their passport on the plane to Aswan, Ash had the airline staff track it down and deliver it to us.
When Ash realized that the number of boats on the river meant that our boat probably would not get through the Aswan dam with enough time to get us to Luxor before the temples closed, Ash arranged for us—and just us—to get off the boat in a small riverside town to catch a bus to Luxor. We ended up getting an extra hour at Karnak and did not have to try to do all of the East and West Bank sites in one day (as many others on the boat likely did). Also, we ended up at Luxor at golden hour and listening to the evening call to prayer as the sun was setting from inside that temple was extremely moving. Since Karnak was the site I most wanted to see, I am in his debt for his efforts to make sure we got to actually spend time at these sites.
When one of our group demanded to try authentic Egyptian koshary, Ash found us a place (it was great!). I also requested to try Egypt’s famous stuffed pigeon and Ash found us a place where I could order that (the rice has a subtle but lovely flavoring, also recommended!).
Ash undoubtedly spent a bit of time on this trip apologizing and smoothing things over when our group committed various faux pas. He really went above and beyond to make sure that our fairly rowdy group had a good time and didn’t cause too much of a scene.
There were also unscheduled stops at a local perfume maker and at a shop of papyrus artisans. I love everything I bought from them.
The riverboat staff really does make towel animals. They made me a sphinx the first morning and hung a monkey from the ceiling the second morning.
Diving in Hurghada was gorgeous, if a bit chilly (I went in mid-February and while moderately warm at around 75 degrees, it was quite windy out on the water). The yacht was spacious and clean and the crew serves lunch and warm drinks. I also can’t say enough about my dive instructor—in addition to being just about the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen, he had the patience to deal with a scared first-timer who couldn’t figure out how to pop her ears without messing up her goggles. I may have fallen in love with him.
10/10 recommended.

Accommodations, food and transportation was good. All the transfers were safe and well planned. A personal will assist upto the railway and airport. At the other end a personal will be there to pick you and ensure safe transfer to the hotel or cruise. Guide ASH was very knowledgeable. He will brief each attraction before visiting it. Very patience and will guide on how to utilize the free day during the trip. We were provided a complimentary transfer even though we had booked our pre tour accommodation at a different hotel on our own. Same thing at the end of the tour. We had shortened our tour by one day and were provided a complimentary transfer to the airport. Only two recommendations : Tourist should have choice for variety of food on the days when the lunch is not included in the trip. They can be taken where there are multiple cuisines rather then company selected Egyptian Cuisine. Arrival from Cairo to Amman can be earlier so there is more time at Wadi Rum. Last day of our check out, our flight was at the early morning 2:30 am. Still company provided hotel room for full night. Driver was waiting outside the hotel to provide us a safe transfer to the airport.

I was as a solo female traveller on the Egypt Explorer - Felucca tour with Timeless Tours in late April/May 2022. The 10 day tour covered all the major historical sights and included down time on the felucca. Seeing the temples and pyramids was amazing! Having been on other tours before, I could really tell how dedicated the tour operator was to make this the best experience for us travellers. Our main guide Ash was the best! Everything was so well organised, trouble free for me and I felt perfectly safe. In the group running parallel to mine (going on the nile cruise ship), a traveller had a heart attack and the tour guides/tour company took amazing care of this, staying with him, helping and dealing with everything (hospital,etc.) until he was better and could join the group again further along the trip.
To make it even better, I would have loved to have more experiences like on the market Khan el-Kalili and the cafe there, exploring more of the local culture and food but, of course, I understand time is limited. Would definitely recommend the tour!

This tour was very good. I feel I have learnt a lot about Egypt and their culture and traditions and at the same time I had a great time with loads of fun and smiles. All the visits and scheduled activities were on time and high quality standards. Great food and hotels too.
However the highlight of the trip was my guide, Ash, who took care of everything so I could enjoy and explore the historical sites and monuments. He made sure I felt safe and answered any questions I had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and he speaks really good English too.
As a woman traveling alone, I appreciate his help and support a lot!

Hany the owner was so quick to respond to my initial inquiry & made sure to make all of our trips requests & schedules run perfectly. Everything was so organized & professional every step of the way.
We booked the Best of Egypt itinerary (private tour) which I highly recommend if you want to truly experience Egypt in depth. If you're looking for a great budget trip then book it exactly as is. Although, we had a few special hotels we wanted to stay at & Hany gladly allowed us to upgrade the hotels at an extra cost. I would also recommend upgrading the nile boat leg of the trip if you're wanting a more luxury trip experience. The drivers were all very professional & interior Egypt flights were great (recommend upgrading to flights instead of bus travel). Be sure to add in the Abu Simbel Temple & Hot Air Balloon ride extras they are a must do. The itinerary was fabulous. The sites were amazing & we felt we had enough time at each spot & were not rushed or too tired with our daily activities.
Now on to the topic of our guide...Ashraf (or Ash for short)!!! I cannot express to you in words what a pleasure it was to have him as our guide but I am going to try! Ash made the trip for us for sure. My husband & I have been very blessed to travel around the world & we always try to book private guides. That being said we have had our fair share of good/bad guides but Ash was on of the biggest exceptions. He was by far one of the best guides we have ever had. From the moment we arrived he had our itineraries printed & went over everything. Telling us the do's & dont's & making us feel perfectly safe & cared for throughout our entire trip. He also was extremely knowledgable of every bit of history & could answer any questions you will have. Giving you so much interesting info at every sight & then also giving you plenty of free time to explore. He also was a wonderful photographer for us throughout the entire trip. We truly felt as though we made a lifelong friend in Ashraf, which is something we will never forget...
So in summary: If you're planning on going to Egypt (JUST GO!!!!) you MUST pick Timeless Tours it is a top quality company & you DEFINITELY should request Ashraf to be your guide...you will not be disappointed!!!

Going with Timeless Tours made the entire experience effortless, as they took care of all the transfers, dealt with tipping and handled all additional logistics. Highly recommend the supplemental trip to Abu Simbel as well as the hot air balloon ride and Red Sea diving excursion. I will definitely be recommending this tour to family and friends.

The hotels ranged from nice to very very nice. The Nile cruise was wonderful. We added a few days after the trip to go to Jordan and see Petra. Timeless Tours arranged everything - air travel, transportation, visas, guide, etc. We were nervous about traveling to the Middle East at this time but were impressed by how quickly Timeless Tours responded to email. They were incredibly patient with all our questions and very helpful. This company is fantastic and I would highly recommend them.

There are long bus rides to get everywhere but the driver was excellent too!

If Egypt is in your bucket list, this trip is for you. From the time we landed in Cairo till we left to come back to the US, we were well taken care of every step of the way. All logistics were handled very well and the schedule was adjusted as needed if minor delays happen to get back on track! (e.g our Hot Air Balloon landing was slightly delayed but we got back on track in no time).
Our tour guide Ash was extremely knowledgeable, acommodating and helpful. He was very attentive to everyone and their needs. All timeless tours representatives were very helpful.
The Oasis hotel is nice with spacious clean rooms and bathrooms. The Gravity Hotel in Hurghada was also impressive! The staff was friendly and courteous.
The activities were well-put, we really got a taste of Egypt - from visiting historic temples, to learning about perfumes and papyrus, to traveling across the Sahara Desert, to swimming the Red Sea, and to experiencing the food, culture and of course the market! We took the extra Abu Simbel trip and Hot Air Balloon and both are highly recommended! We also enjoyed the 12 hour sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan!

Because the trip I went on was absolutely 5 stars, but it ended up NOT being the one with the felucca cruise. Instead, I upgraded to a 3 day cruise on a large cruise ship with air conditioning and my own bathroom and just a much more wonderful experience. From what I heard about the felucca, they shouldn't even offer it. Rustic would be too good a word for it. Timeless tours is great, my tour guide Ash was absolutely fantastic!! Just don't choose the felucca and you'll be happy.

But these 14 days gave us a wonderful and fantastic experience and adventure what we liked so much. Thanks for the Timeless Tours too.
We had a very cohesive group that got along very well. We also enjoyed our guide Ash. He did a good job telling us about the great historical places we visited. They crammed the little cabin with 3 twin beds and we literally had no place to move.

Hotels: staff and waiters very attentive, minor problems with AC, water pressure, and water temperature; Food: buffet style, excellent; Cruise ship superb (food, staff, rooms); sleeper train from Cair…Hotels: staff and waiters very attentive, minor problems with AC, water pressure, and water temperature; Food: buffet style, excellent; Cruise ship superb (food, staff, rooms); sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan: poor to bad (sink not working, room not lockable, noisy, rattly, windows dirty), overland buses generally comfortable, but their restrooms are not very clean, often toilet paper is missing, sink has no water etc.; Guide (Ash) was extremely helpful with general advice and knowledgeable about old Egyptian culture and spoke very good English, however he gave long lessons which were quite interesting but often did not permit enough free time for the guests; the entire itinerary was packed with visits; we did see a lot on one hand, but less would have been more; or perhaps better the trip should have been extended a day or two with the same number of attractions visited..

The tour covered just about everything I wanted to do in Egypt. I'm quite glad I decided to book a tour too because I have no idea how I would have otherwise handled all the logistics of traveling in Egypt where everything is just so different! Our tour guide, Ash, was a virtual encyclopedia on all things Egypt and did a great job providing us with the backstory on everything we visited. I also liked the optional excursions, which allowed us to spice up the trip with even more experiences when we wanted. I should note that parts of the tour are a bit aggressive in terms of early wake ups and the sheer amount of activities, but this is nicely balanced out by times to relax. Overall, it was the trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend it!

Would absolutely recommend this tour - it felt well organised, safe and did everything it said it would. Only downside was the food but its understandable that buffets are the best way to cater to large amounts of people with varying dietary requirements in a short time span.

The poor part was that the hotels and cruise were not in a good condition and not so clean.

It was well organised and we covered a huge number of sites. Ash, our guide, was amazing in both this knowledge of the sites and his ability to look after us. As a small group it was great to have some flexibility on the schedule, and we managed to fit in several of the extra excursions which were well worth it.
We covered a lot of Egypt, with internal filghts and air-conditioned mini-coaches arranged well and without fuss. It all flowed smoothly.
Three of us needed a strict gluten-free diet (Coeliacs) and Ash really helped out with this to ensure that we could adhere to it. Letting them know beforehand worked well, as did taking an arabic translation card.
We always felt safe throughout Egypt - definitely a good place to go. Heartily recommend Timeless Tours.
If you want to get a real flavour of Egypt and its history then this is the tour for you.

I was lucky to be in a group of only 9 people which allowed us to travel in a small minibus instead of a coach. My original itinerary with a night on a felucca was not possible as I was the only person who booked this tour, so I had to pay an upgrade for 3 nights on a cruise ship. Sadly, also the overnight train from Cairo to Asswan was cancelled as everyone else on the tour was flying, so I had to fly also (although I was looking forward to the train experience which I had paid extra for). In my view, this should have been communicated prior to the start of the tour. Other than that, it was an amazing experience with lots of long days, usually getting up very early and ending late. The accommodations are pretty high end for my standard and usually there is an buffet. For my taste, it could have been more local food on the trip. If you want to see lots of sights in a short time it is definitely the best way to do so.

Our tour guide ash was 10/10!! Very knowledgeable and patient when I got a little sick on the trip lol. The length of this trip is the perfect amount to see everything there is to see for a first time in Egypt. I recommend to the Abu simbel and the hot air balloon as the extras!
Lost 1 star rating at the food wasn’t always the best and due to some issues regarding currency. Prior to leaving it was confirmed that I could pay for the extras in British pounds (as that is what was given to me) and for the flight upgrade in USD however I was asked to pay in Egyptian pounds therefore when I went to pay the conversion rate was different :( that was a bad start to the trip…but the only downside everything else was great! Thank you ash, my amazing tour group and the tour company for an unforgettable trip!!!

What can I say! A fantastically well executed tour, jam packed to the hilt with ancient wonders, interspersed with a few days at either end to show you the desert metropolis that is Cairo.

Our guide Ash was knowledgeable, amiable, patient and accommodating. On a group of 5 people who all hit it off from the start it was like he was the 6th member who just happened knew a lot about where we were :-)
Our driver was always on time and we often reached the destinations before the mega buses arrived. We were there in mid January and I can't imagine there is a better time to go. Less people, cool evenings and the water in the red sea was a lovely temperature.
On the two days in Hurghada we went quad biking and snorkeling /diving and were well looked after throughout both excursions.
I feel like for the price - the hotels, transport and tour guides/associates were more than adequate and would recommend this tour to any adventurers that want to pack a lot in!

Our tour guide Ashraf was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver Ouzu was the best and I will never forget his infectious laughter. We were so lucky to have gotten on a small tour, there were just 5 of us total. I am honored to have made some lifetime friends. The only thing that I wish were different is that I wish they would mix up the itinerary a little bit. We went hard with pyramids and temples for days, then a nice relaxing resort, then by the time we got back to Cairo we were all ready to be home and didn't care much to see the rest. I wish we could have seen more museums and learned a little bit more history at the beginning to give some perspective to what we were seeing along the way.

The highlight was the Nile cruise. The low point was the terrible all inclusive hotel in Hurghada. The first day and last day in Cairo were too full. I would recommend cutting Hurghada and more time in Cairo to visit the sites there without such a rush.
The hotel in Hurghada had no beach (it was under construction). The food was disgusting.
This was my 7th visit to Egypt. It is a fascinating country.
