  Highly recommend this tour if interested in seeing key ancient sites in efficient timeline. The accommodations are clean and basic. Our guide, AJ, was knowledgeable and friendly, and very accommodating of specific requests. The location of hotel in Cairo didn’t support exploring on my own. The drivers to Abu Simbel smoked in the vehicle, which I found difficult on such a long ride. The only real down side of tour was service of dining staff in n Nile boat. They were slow and a bit rude. My excellent review largely is based on our guide, the support staff who help coordinate transfers, etc, and overall itinerary.Show more

However, I also want to sincerely thank you for your candor regarding the areas where we fell short. We aim for excellence across the entire experience, and your feedback is vital for our improvement: I am genuinely sorry to hear about the slow and discourteous service you encountered. This is certainly not the standard of hospitality we expect for our guests, and we will be addressing this directly with the boat management. Thank you for bringing the smoking issue to our attention. For a long haul like the drive to Abu Simbel, passenger comfort is paramount. We have a strict no-smoking policy for our drivers while guests are on board, and we will be following up with our transport partners to ensure this is enforced. We understand that while our selected hotels are chosen for their proximity to key sites, it can sometimes limit independent exploration. We’ll take this into consideration for future guest briefings to help travelers better navigate the surrounding areas. We are so glad that, despite these hiccups, the magic of the itinerary and the expertise of your guide earned us a high recommendation.   Exceptional journey through Egypt! The itinerary is full of must see highlights from day one and I recommend everyone takes a trip to Egypt to see sights like no other! The standout of our trip was our fantastic guide (and extremely qualified Egyptologist) Mina (Malik)! He was not just our guide but our Egyptian family member showing us his beloved Egypt with so much thought and detail. Mina had so much knowledge and passion, and had answers to all our questions as well as sharing his stories. The organisation was also impeccable, Mina really knows his way around and made sure our trip ran seamlessly! I highly recommend Timeless Tours for your travel to Egypt, great value for money, guides excellent, transport wa spot on, they thought of every detail. The accommodation, while not the same star standards you would expect in US or Europe was clean and comfortable, and sailing down the Nile on the deck of the ship was amazing! Highly recommend!!Show more

  Communication needs improving. Certain parts which we expected to be part of the package were first communicated as not available and then later when we all voiced our dissatisfaction were made available but with an emphasis that it's being given as a courtesy. If that was true then the itinerary was badly managed. Also 2 of the places mentioned on the included list were not visited.Show more

  What a trip! we had such a great time in Egypt thanks to our tour guide Peter, he was fantastic, from day one he welcomed us with a massive smile, lots of information he is passionate and knowledgeable, bringing Egypt’s rich history to life. The cruise boat was beyond my expectations, spacious and offering stunning views of the Nile. The hotel in Cairo was excellent especially the food, and the service throughout the trip was outstanding. Highly recommend this tourShow more

  This is my second tour with Timeless Tours, the first tour was back in 2019 to Morocco which was great, but Egypt is PHENOMENAL! The minute we stepped off the plane the Timeless experience kicked into gear, their agent who met us in the baggage hall and delt with the Visa formalities and shepherded us safely through the throng of Cairo traffic to the Jaz Pyramids Resort in an air conditioned minibus, at the hotel sim cards for our phones and local currency were arranged effortlessly for us. We were a small group who quickly became friends and Peter our guide our friend was attentive to the needs of each guest and always went the extra mile to ensure we all had a a fantastic experience while we were in Egypt. All the accommodation on our trip was absolutely fantastic including massive rooms / suites on the Nile Bride cruise ship. There was only one exception, the Sleeper train is a bit dated.   I just completed a 9 day tour of Egypt with timeless tours. It was way better than expected and I was lucky enough to score a great group of people and the ultimate guide - peter. He always made sure that we were safe, on time and insisted that we saw the best of Egypt. He was also able to provide recommendations on additional activities that contributed to our tour being one to remember. I would definitely recommend this tour to travellers of all ages Show more
