Had an amazing time on the South Africa tour! Our group was super lovely and the activities and locations gave an excellent overview of the country. Jonny, the group leader was super friendly and went out if his way to ensure everything ran smoothly and people had the best time possible. Would definitely recommend! ☺️💛
- by EmmaParnhamHad an amazing time in SA with Jonny our intro tour leader and Andreis our local tour guide. Kruger national park was definitely a highlight and Johnny squeezed in a few extra activities to make the tour even better! The accom was really nice and the tour was well paced! 10/10 recommend

We were stuck on a bus with 38 Spanish speakers and a Spanish tour guide. It was supposed to be an English tour- not an English guide speaking to us across the aisle of a bus for 2- 3 sentences and then another 40 minutes of Spanish via the microphone. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Gym on the cruise was broken. Room ac control was broken. Cruise food was great and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend. Tour guide was excellent.
- by Amin Vajdi JahromiThe trip was excellent. From the time we landed in Cairo till we left to come back to the US, we were well taken care of every step of the way. Upon landing in Cairo we were met by a tour representative who ushered us through the immigration formalities and whisked us away to our hotel in downtown Cairo. We arrived a couple of days before the tour started and stayed at a hotel of our choosing (InterContinental Semiramis). On the day of the tour we were picked up and transferred to the tour hotel (Oasis). No issues with this process. They even accommodated a request to pick us up a little later in the day. The Oasis hotel is nice with spacious clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff here was friendly and courteous as well. We met our guide Meena Mouniry here. He was just fantastic and the reason for our trip being so successful. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to manage a tour group well. The sight-seeing in Cairo was uneventful. All the entrance fees were taken care of ahead of time and our bus was waiting for us everywhere we went. We never had to wait anywhere for our bus, or anything for that matter. We opted to take the train to Aswan rather than the bus. The train is fine but do not expect anything that you may have experienced in other countries. This is probably the only low point of the tour. I would recommend the upgrade to a flight between Cairo and Aswan. Once in Aswan we were transferred to the river boat. We were on the Lady Carol. The boat is fine. They seem to have spent all the money on the common areas (lobby, lounge, dining hall, etc) and not as much on th guest rooms.

Very good package offered by Exodus, facilitated by Tour Radar. The latter provided excellent service with great communication throughout.
- by Jean-Luc Oliveira-PriezOur family of four went on this tour in February half term 2023. The places you visit are amazing, Pyramids and Valley of the Kings especially. 19 of us on the tour, really good bunch of people and the kids all got on well. We were first time travellers with Exodus and we really expected more effort to have gone in to their planning and attention to detail in making this a family adventure as billed. In reality it's a tour Exodus seem to resell from an Egyptian tour operator and felt like an adult tour with kids on. e.g. after the 15hour overnight train journey when clearly the group were exhausted, the guide announced that the hotel rooms weren't ready and we were going to do the next day’s itinerary then. This completely misread the group. Often the plan for the day didn’t factor in meals or breaks at a reasonable time, e.g. on the first day we at left at 0730 but lunch stop wasn’t till 1400, lots of very hungry children. For the overnight train to Aswan they don’t use the main station in Cairo but a small suburban one. They got us to the station 3 hours before the train departure and there was only a small café that served drinks. With a bit of thought they could have easily sorted out a family friendly restaurant with toilets etc, the food on the train is pretty poor so a meal before departure would have been welcome. With some planning all of this could be fixed easily. We didn't expect someone from Exodus to be with us, but I did expect one of their team to have built the itinerary and worked with the operator to match the vision they sell. This just didn't seem to be the case. Exodus say they have at some point visited the hotels etc but not been on this particular tour. The Cairo hotel (Cairo Pyramids – Steigenberger) was terrible, you don't stay in the main part which is on the website but are in old bungalows that were like a 1* motel from the 1980s. I can't believe that anyone from Exodus has stayed in that part of the hotel and they still let people stay there. At each hotel the group were met by a local representative from the tour operator, but never managed to once get the hotel rooms sorted to match the group, e.g. those that needed three beds seemed to always get two. I realise this seems petty but at 2030 after a 7 hour coach drive you don’t want to be spending another 45mins trying to sort out hotel rooms. It would have really helped if they’d got this type of detail right. The tour operator runs a tipping kitty which Exodus say is optional. In reality it isn’t. You are summoned to pay ($45 or $25 for kids) on the first day, also children age 12 or older are adults for this and the optional tours. The tour operator was literally chasing some people around hotels to collect any missing tip kitty. Exodus have said they are going to make sure the operator knows it is optional, but I think if it’s needed they should simply add to the cost of the holiday. The tipping kitty doesn’t cover the tip for the guide which is recommended at $4/day per person. We really enjoyed Egypt but think Exodus need to step up their game on this tour to make it close to experience they say they offer.

Wonderful experience, both CEOs were excellent. It was a nicely paced itinerary which went to more of the places I wanted to go than any other tour company

Absolut schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht!
- by Samira RaczakSchöne Rundreise mit allen Königsstädten Marokkos.

We had the pleasure of having the most wonderful guide named Mariam. She truly made the experience so special by being so thoughtful, considerate and knowledgeable about Egyptian history. Mariam is an extremely caring and wonderful person who made it an unforgettable experience. The Nile cruise was a very pleasant addition to the tour, and reduced bus time significantly (as the boat brought us to the various sites/attractions) which made the tour even better. If you can snag Mariam as your tour guide you will most definitely have an awesome experience!

It all began at Cairo´s airport with an excelent service by Michael, who was expectng us an d took us to the hotel. The guide tour was Michel, and excelent guide and better human being, that took care of each one of us (There were people that needed assistance, and he was allways aware of each one of us and helped us in every possible way) , was very well informed, polite and professional. The tour is well structured, covering most of the interesting sites of Egypt. Well balanced in times and structure for moving us around efficiently. All the busess were comfortable, clean and had air conditioning. The visits in Cairo covering the Antiquities museum, Hanging Church and Abu Serga Church are very interesting, but we think that you are missing the Citadel with the alabaster Mosque and the National Mueum of Egyptian Civilization - they are so interesting you should visit them The visits to Giza, Saqara, Philae temple, Edfu, Kon Ombo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Karnak are extraordinary. Michel explanation was very good. We took some of the additional tours offered by Tourradar: 1) Abu Simbel by plane - very good, because we saved some hours of bus transportation 2) Baloon in Karnak - Was a nioce experience, but being honest the journey is over some fields close to the baloon´s station, not really flying over Karnak ruins. 3) Light and sound in Karnak - Not worth it. During the hour that lasts the show, you are standing over 30 minutes on the first half f the tour and due to the amount of people, you can´t really appreciate the ruins. The second half of the sgow you sit in front of a pond and there is only sound - nothing to see. Steigenberger hotel - was very good. Tolip Hotel in Aswan is OK (nothing special) The Cruise ship at the Nile ship was OK, food was good and rooms small, but comfortable. A real problem is that Wifi that is not for free is so slow, I decided not to use it. On our second stay in Cairo, tourradar took us to the Safir hotel Cairo - It is not a 4 star hotel, We stayed 3 days at the hotel and we had many problems: The shower and air conditioning didn´t work properly, the electronic keys had to be programmed almost each day. One morning we went for a tour and came back at 2PM and our room was not cleaned, the area where it is located is far from the City Center. Not worth the money paid.

In general, I was really happy with this tour. Everything we saw was terrific and impressive. The hotels were really good. Our first tour guide was OK, friendly enough, but didn't seem really tuned in or passionate about what he was explaining to us. He tended to enjoy the younger people on the tour more. The guide during the Nile cruise was great, super knowledgeable and super in to us and what he was telling us. Our guide in Jordan was also super knowledgeable and informative. An extra cost tour that was a total waste of money was the star night at Wadi Rum. It was way over crowded with badly behaved children. There were too many people and not enough help to make sure we saw anything through the telescopes. When we sat in a circle within an enclosed area for further star information, we were sat with our backs to the wall and what we were supposed to view. The young woman who was speaking didn't seem to know what she was talking about or doing and kept on saying "Don't judge me." The other workers just let her babble on. The overnight trains were a little primitive but interesting to experience. The trip was strenuous and it was very hot. I am older and it was hard work, but I was warned and chose to do it anyhow. Overall, it was a very good experience!!!

After this tour I feel like I was robbed. Here is why. Please note - my review here is review to Bucket List, not Timeless Travel who were hosting that tour. This tour was the most attractive to me because it allowed the most side seeing thru the Egypt and since it was ending in Hurghada, me and my fiancee could have stayed at resort near Red Sea for extra time. US has capitalism economy, and companies like Bucket list exist on Amazon too - like you are sold same item from Target for double the value. I always hate when someone resells something and adds almost NO value to the product and make profit from it - even so it is legal, it is also legal for me to leave poor review for such companies that (in cases when I cannot return and by cheaper). Once we arrived to Cairo, we understood that I & my fiancee were only 2 people in our group who booked the tour via Bucket List. Apparently, we were merged in a group hosted by Timeless Travel. The part that was not OK is that when I paid 2.5k$ per person (5k+ total), I was assuming that we will be a part of small group size up to 12 people max. We had 18 people in our group, and we were lucky. If we were to buy 'Best Of Egypt – 5* Cruise' tour from Timless Travel directly, it would have cost 1138EUR (1235$) and I'm ignoring the fact that sometimes they have 48% off their prices which would make it to 600$ per person. Only nuance is that we were upgraded to flight ticket from Cairo to Aswan which is extra.. but with hotel + flight ticket I would imagine that would be 200-300$ extra per person. Which makes me believe that I was overcharged 2k$ and even more for this trip. Timeless website states that their group size could be as large as 34 people - which explains that 18 people we had was expected. But it was more than promised by Bucket List. Another screwed up by Bucket List team was that I was asking them 3 times which resort we would be staying at Hurgada.. And I was told that we were to stay at Protels Grand Seas (which now rebrands by SunRise chain of restors). And I did book it on my own. And when I talked to our group guide, I learned that we were staying at Gravity resort. For 2k$ overcharge you would expect someone to be cristally clear about those details and don't screw up. But Bucket List did a very poor job. Another nuance is that there was misunderstanding with Timeless team - I had to talk to the guide couple times because part of their tour includes return back to Cairo for the last day of the program. And we were suppose to stay in Hurghada by our plan. They had to extend our stay in Hurghada because they allready assume that we will be staying last night in Cairo. Which makes me believe that you can book with Timeless and just talk to them and break out from the group and stay at Hurghada just fine. Having middle man like Bucket List does not good and creates break down in communication. On another hand, I guess this is just a part of experience - everyone at Egypt is trying to trick you into paying more, so Bucket List is just beginning of "experiencing Egypt". Probably only country in the world where prices are in EUR and USD are the same. Even so you cannot exchange USD to EUR as 1 to 1. But if someone would plan to travel there - bring USD, not EUR - you will get more value for your money. And recalculate final price you are given at duty free at the airport - people there cannot count correctly even with calculator. They will try to charge you more in some cases. And for them 2 + 2 = 5, and not 4.

Our tour was of Best of Morocco, 10 days. Our tour director was Mohammed Ben Sellam. Our experience was excellent. The tour director was very efficient and accommodating to our needs. On more than one occasion, he went above and beyond our expectations. The tour itself of Morocco was beautiful and educational. The hotels for the most part were very comfortable, the included lunches and dinners were delicious, and the local guides were very knowledgeable. We recommend this company highly.
- by Andres CartayaDue to a problem between Tourradar and Trafalgar, I almost did not have a spot on the the tour bus. I paid for my trip through Tourradar however, Trafalgar said they never received the info for me.
