The standout of our trip was our fantastic guide (and extremely qualified Egyptologist) Mina (Malik)! He was not just our guide but our Egyptian family member showing us his beloved Egypt with so much thought and detail. Mina had so much knowledge and passion, and had answers to all our questions as well as sharing his stories. The organisation was also impeccable, Mina really knows his way around and made sure our trip ran seamlessly!
I highly recommend Timeless Tours for your travel to Egypt, great value for money, guides excellent, transport wa spot on, they thought of every detail. The accommodation, while not the same star standards you would expect in US or Europe was clean and comfortable, and sailing down the Nile on the deck of the ship was amazing! Highly recommend!!

The overnight train to Aswan was good fun (a bit of an adventure - long and noisy but fun nonetheless - upgrade to flight if this isn't for you). The sites we saw were out of this world. Highly recommend doing the Abu Simbel trip as an add on - this place is a must see. Egypt is a wonderful country. Felt safe from start to finish. Our guide was responsible for everything great about the trip. Mina Malik is a wonderful man and really made the trip for us. Organised everything so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and learning about his beautiful country. He is passionate about his job and that is evident by how he treated us throughout. We learnt so much and will always remember his stories and the time we spent with him in Egypt. The final days at the resort in Hurghada were great to relax and rest. It's an action packed week with lots of time travelling and early starts so be prepared (worth it though). Got to do the scuba diving in the red sea while at Hurghada and this was a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend this tour and timeless tours enough. 5*

I was so nervous going to Egypt and Jordan but there was never a time I felt unsafe or uneasy. I will never forget the friendships I made and the memories that were created. Each day brought something exciting and unforgettable. Mina was the best tour guide I could have had ever asked for. The knowledge and humor he brought to the tour made it so much more special. The only bad part of the tour was saying goodbye to everyone I met. I could not pick a favorite day because it all was perfect and better than I could have ever imagined.

Mina is a beautiful soul and an outstanding person, his knowledge and calmness and willing to go over and above is very rare in my experience of how people are in today's times. So this being said I highly recommend Mina Malik for everything he endeavours in the future

In general the tour itinerary was fine, but the internal flight's departure time could be arranged in a more convinient way. Going to the Cairo airport at 3:30 am t get flight to Aswan was a nightmare…In general the tour itinerary was fine, but the internal flight's departure time could be arranged in a more convinient way. Going to the Cairo airport at 3:30 am t get flight to Aswan was a nightmare. and of course in the first day at Aswan we were free in the evening. The tour guide was very polite, helpful, and used to give basic info about the highlights at each visiting point.

Our guide in Egypt was good and his organisation could have been better but in Jordan we only had a driver and not a tour guide which was unsatisfactory at times as a guide would have done more for us in terms of sorting issues as we had some in Jordan.

We were able to visit all the sites and had some opportunities to try traditional foods and experience the culture. I cannot fault anything about this trip. Thank you so much!

Would definitely recommend Abu Simbel and flight to Aswan options plus the diving in Hurghada.
Bonus point for the tour guide, he was awesome!

However, tour operators clearly trying to get as much money out of people as they can. The amount for tips asked for at the start of the tour was higher than stated on the website then there was a further suggestion of a 10 dollar per day per person tip for the tour guide - this should all be included in the total price.
Several very early mornings that were not communicated until the day before (including one 3am start for the hurghada to Cairo leg). An itinerary would be very useful to help plan and know what is coming - I realise exact timings wouldn't work but a bit more info than available on the website would be helpful.
The Hurghada hotel was very smelly (next to a rubbish dump of some kind) and several parts of the bathroom falling to pieces eg. shower door/screws

Our tour guide, Mina (Malik), was the best & made the trip more engaging & fun. Our group was relatively small which was nice and everyone was within the same age group so we all got along very quickly, especially after the felucca cruise. This was my first time traveling solo as well, so I was really nervous at first. But Hany, the owner, was quick to answer any questions I had before the actual trip started so I was really appreciative of that.
As I said before, Mina Malik was a wonderful guide who went above and beyond & made sure everyone was having a good time. When we were in Luxor, he squeezed in some extra time so I could get a cartouche necklace made. He didn’t have to do it, but he did it anyway! ?
I miss our group so much already, love you Flafel ???
