What would be the cost if I would like to take a flight from Cairo to Aswan? While the Itinerary of Day 2 states that I can upgrade, I did not see this option in Extra cost.

The flight upgrade to Aswan costs $204 including the flight ticket, the night accommodation and the airport transfers.

Just wondering if there is a specifc time to arrive and meet with our representative and meeting with our guide for the tour briefing? I am likely to be arriving in Cairo around 5pm - still have to sort out my flights.

You can arrive at any time on Day One. The check-in at the hotel is after 12:00 noon. Our representative will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport to assist with your entry visa and transfer you to the hotel. The Welcome Meeting and group tour briefing is typically held in the hotel lobby around 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM. If you arrive later in the evening, our representative or the hotel front desk will provide you with all the essential information and timings and details for Day Two. Your guide will also catch you up first thing the following morning.

I am 48 but I see it's a age limit to 46; any reason for that?

The age range isn't restrcit. It's only due to the overnight stay on the Nile felucca. This felucca has no private rooms nor proper bathroom. It has a basic toilet and everyone sleeps side by side using mattresses and blankets. As I said the age range is flexible. You are more than welcome to book this tour and give us this chance to welcome you to Egypt.

Can I please get a list of all the additional charges for entry to locations and optional activities etc please?

Is that a specific location inside the Cairo airport where I can meet the operator? Is it easy to find? I've never been to Egypt. I am afraid I might not be able to find the location. Also, if my return flight is early in the morning like 8 AM on the last day, do you provide a very early airport transfer? Or do you provide the airport transfer only after breakfast on the last day?

For this 10-day trip, how much cash in US dollars should I bring with me for daily lunch and dinner on those days when meals are not included? Can you give me an estimate for a solo traveler?

I'm very interested in this tour. However, I noticed the age limit of 47. I just turned 53, but I'm very healthy and active. Most people think I'm in 30's. Can I still join this tour?

The hotel in Cairo is Jaz Pyramids resort. We can book the extra night pre-tour at this hotel for USD $147 per room with breakfast and including the airport pick up on the 7th.

What do we usually do with our bags when we are traveling between cities? For example, when visiting places like the Valley of the Kings or going on day expeditions where there is not an obvious place to store our things, is there a secure option available?

Basically, we keep our luggage with us in the bus while traveling between cities. On day 2 of the tour, we store our in Cairo's hotel till we finish the pyramids tour and then we depart for Aswan. on day 5, we take our luggage with us after checking out of the Felucca while visiting Kim Ombo Edfu. on day 6, we take the luggage with us on the bus while visiting valley of the kings.

Are transports to the airport available if the flights are before breakfast? Most flights departing are early morning with 05:15 being the most common.

The email communication is excellent. Timeless responds to questions in a prompt manner. Some travelers are cocky and whiny, but Timeless remains patient and professional. Not surprisingly, things always do not go as planned or stated in the itinerary. In such circumstances, Timeless offers upgrades, compliments, or reasonable alternatives to make us content. There is room for improvement. Some optional excursions are overly priced, additional costs that can quickly add up for a budget conscious traveller. If you choose not to join those excursions, you may have nothing to do during the day time. And you might find it uncomfortable or difficult to venture out by yourself. It would be better if Timeless can provide more affordable options or activities for those who are not joining optional excursions due to high costs, rather than leave them "stranded". Overall, I find that Timeless is a reliable and trustworthy company that provides a great package deal for the money. Also sure you do all of the add ons But let me tell you about the tour guide, Mina N. or as I like to call him Mina the bossy...😂😂😂. He was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable...ABOUT EVERYTHING! He will recommend that you do the add ons that will require you to get up extra early, but they are absolutely worth it. He also has a great sense of humor. I laughed so much during this tour. He is also bossy....😂😂😂😂. He will say that you can get a drink but if you order a cappuccino, please make sure you order it for take away.....😂😂😂😂 This is my first tour with this company but I would do another tour with them.   Also, could you let me know how your airport pick up works? Will you send someone waiting for me at the arrival gate with my name tag? In the event I do not meet your guide at Cairo airport for pick up, what should I do? Should I go to the hotel by myself? If yes, what is the name of the hotel on the first day?

Yes. he/ she will be holding the Timeless Tours sign, at the passport/immigration check. What do we usually do with our bags when we are traveling between cities? For example, when visiting places like the Valley of the Kings or going on day expeditions where there is not an obvious place to store our things, is there a secure option available?

On day 2 of the tour, we store our in Cairo's hotel till we finish the pyramids tour and then we depart for Aswan. on day 5, we take our luggage with us after checking out of the Felucca while visiting Kim Ombo Edfu. on day 6, we take the luggage with us on the bus while visiting valley of the kings.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Timeless Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
