I completely understand where you are coming from. Japan’s historical architecture is incredibly rich, but when a tour includes a high concentration of shrines and temples back-to-back, "temple fatigue" is a very real thing. After a while, the distinct history and beauty of each site can certainly start to blend together. Your suggestion to shift the balance toward modern culture, specialized museums, shopping, and local culinary experiences is excellent—especially regarding Osaka. Osaka is truly the street-food and culinary capital of Japan, and it thrives on its vibrant, fast-paced urban energy rather than traditional religious sites. We are always looking for ways to refine our itineraries and ensure our guests get a diverse, engaging experience. I am sharing your notes directly with our itinerary planning team so we can look into introducing more curated food tours, shopping exploration time, and museum visits for future departures, particularly during our days in Osaka.
