  Can you please hold this for my clients @ $2663 per person. The tour has a departure date of 23rd May, however on the email below is states 26th May - is there availability on both? Can you please confirm hotel in Osaka as they would like to arrive a day or 2 earlier. Is this something you can also book? If so could you please provide me with cost.

    Yes both May 23rd and May 26th are available and guaranteed departures. For individual hotel bookings, our rates are unfortunately not as competitive. To ensure you receive the best value, I would recommend booking through Expedia or directly on the hotel's official website. The first night's hotel has been confirmed as Star Gate Hotel Kansai. We will share the remaining confirmed hotel details approximately one month prior to the departure date.

  Which hotels are we staying on the 4th and 5th day? Are we staying in a hotel in Kyoto on any of those days? When do you sign up/pay for Hiroshima optional tour? I want to change my date to July 1st or July 6th. From what I checked, I don't see a price difference with my current date and those July dates if I want to change, please confirm.

    We haven't confirmed the final hotels yet.
    We don't stay at Kyoto for a night. We will have a half day tour in Tokyo.
    You will sign up for the Hiroshima optional tour in Japan.

    And at this stage your original departure date Jun 26th is actually a guaranteed departure.
    But July 6th is not guaranteed and only has 2 guests booked.\u00a0

    In your T&C- it says no charges for change of dates if done prior to 30 days of departure. Please confirm.

    Of course. I will reach out to the current guests to see if we can make July 1st a guaranteed departure. As for July 6th, we will cancel the departure date if we do not have enough guests booked two months prior to departure.
    The group will leave Osaka in the morning after breakfast and spend half day in Kyoto before departing again in the afternoon for Nagoya.

  Are rooms private rooms, and are drop off and pick up from hotel to train stations provided if travellers choose the hiroshima option?

    We only use private rooms with two guests sharing one room. The tour guide will pick up the guests and take the train with the guests to Hiroshima and then come back and drop them off at the hotel.

    The Shibuya crossing isn't included. Here is what we will do in Tokyo: You'll start the Tokyo One Day City Tour at Meiji Shrine from 9:00-10:00am. From 10:30am-1:00pm, you'll browse fashionable Omote Sando and Takeshita Dori. At 2:00-3:30pm, you'll visit a secret Japanese traditional rock garden. Tokyo Tower comes next from 4:00-5:00pm with admission included. Free time from 5:30-6:30pm lets you explore Shinjuku Kabukicho's colorful nightlife. Note that the schedule may change due to weather or traffic.

    We do have a 4 star package with the same itinerary. But because of the high price we have very few guests booked for it. The only guaranteed departure for the 4 star package is Oct 9th this year.

    What is the difference between the 8D Splendid Japan-Private 3 Star Hotels-Osaka to Tokyo & 9D Splendid Japan-Private 3 Star Hotels-Osaka to Tokyo?

    The only difference is the 9D tour has a free day in Tokyo, which is just one more night of hotel stay. They have exactly the same itinerary on the first 8 days.

    Do you assist with booking the bullet train if we elect to travel from Tokyo to Osaka?

    Regarding the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka, we generally do not assist with those bookings directly. Most of our clients find it very convenient to purchase their tickets at the station or through the official Smart EX service. The trains run every few minutes, so there is usually no trouble securing a seat. If you'd like, I can provide a quick guide on how to navigate the ticket machines at the station once you arrive!

    I've read several reviews that indicate the hotels selected, including Star Gate, has stained and dusty carpet, evidence of mold or lack of cleanliness esp in bathrooms. I'm a bit concerned as I'm very allergic to dust, mold, and certain dander. Can you confirm if recent renovations addressed these issues? Or what preparation and screening does Stunning Tours do to mitigate this?

While occasional online reviews can reflect isolated experiences, we have not received consistent or recent feedback from our guests indicating widespread cleanliness or maintenance issues. Japanese hotels generally follow high housekeeping standards, with regular cleaning and inspections. If there are ever any issues, they are typically addressed promptly by the hotel staff. Given your allergies, we would be happy to note your request for a well-cleaned, non-smoking room on a higher floor, which can sometimes help minimize dust exposure. While we cannot guarantee specific room conditions, hotels do their best to accommodate such requests.

    We're pleased to confirm that all rooms we use are non-smoking, and we can certainly arrange twin beds for your stay. We will also note your preference for higher floor rooms; however, please kindly understand that this remains a request only and is subject to hotel availability at the time of check-in, so we are unable to guarantee it. Regarding 'thoroughly cleaned and dust-free' rooms, while all our partner hotels maintain professional housekeeping standards, it is difficult to define or guarantee a completely dust-free environment, as this can vary depending on individual sensitivity and hotel conditions. That said, we will absolutely pass along your request so hotels can take extra care where possible.

    In regards to the second and third day in Osaka, will we be staying by Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho? Can the Hiroshima add on be paid online when the tour is booked? And what is the minimum recommended cash to walk with for two people?

    Please find the full confirmed hotel list here: Star Gate Hotel Kansai Airport, Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka Shinsaibashi, Comfort Hotel Nagoya Meiekiminami, Mercure Nagano Matsushiro Resort & Spa, Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda. The Hiroshima tour needs to be paid on site in Japan. But credit cards are okay. Credit cards are actually good for most scenario. I would say 10000 yen is enough for each person just in case. The tips for the guide can by paid in USD(not mandatory).

    Tokyo is a Mega city with lots to explore. Here are some more things to do: Temples & Neighborhoods - Senso-ji (Asakusa), Yanaka (old Tokyo feel), Shimokitazawa (indie/vintage). Experiences - Shibuya Scramble Crossing, teamLab Borderless, Tsukiji Outer Market (breakfast). Day Trips - Nikko, Kamakura, Hakone (Fuji views + onsen). Food & Drink - Omoide Yokocho (Shinjuku yakitori alley), any depachika (department store basement food hall).

    We do not provide wheelchair services directly as part of the tour. However, wheelchairs can be easily rented in Japan, and many train stations, sightseeing sites, and some hotels also have complimentary wheelchairs available for temporary use.
    
    Here are a few reputable companies that offer wheelchair rentals for travelers in Japan:
    Tokyo Wheelchair – rentals starting from about $15 per day, with delivery to hotels and airports across Japan.
    Osaka Wheelchair – similar service with hotel delivery and nationwide shipping options for travelers visiting multiple cities.
    NGT Care Rental – offers manual and electric wheelchairs and can arrange delivery to hotels in major cities.
    Many rental companies can deliver the wheelchair directly to the hotel and arrange pickup after the trip, which makes it quite convenient for visitors.

    If you're more interested in smaller, cultural areas and less time in big cities, we actually recommend focusing on regional Japan rather than extended Tokyo sightseeing. Many of our itineraries are designed with exactly that in mind, balancing local towns, historic districts, and scenic countryside with just enough time in major cities for orientation. For example, instead of spending several days in Tokyo, we often include:
    
    Takayama – a beautifully preserved old town with traditional streets and local markets
    Kanazawa – known for its historic samurai and geisha districts and one of Japan's most authentic gardens
    Hakone or Kawaguchiko – for nature, hot springs, and Mt. Fuji views
    Kyoto – focused more on temples, neighborhoods, and cultural experiences rather than city sightseeing
    
    Nara or small towns near Osaka/Kyoto – quieter, very traditional, and rich in history
