This was such an amazing tour. We saw so much of the country and so many different aspects of Japanese life. Definitely recommend this tour to people wanting to see the best of Japan.

When you visit Japan, most of the tours introduce you to the country. The 9 Days In-Depth Cultural Japan tour was a much more ambitious undertaking. It did show you how, it showed you how a good friend who had lived there a number of years might, carefully taking you from all the surface impressions to a point where you could have some encounters of a quiet nature that would change your perspective on Japanese civilization. For nine days, weaving through temples and traditional craft workshops, tea ceremony rooms and neighborhoods of centuries old, the deliberateness of the walk was never academic or museum-like. All experiences were alive, touchable and actually lived and not just witnessed from a respectful distance. What stuck with me the most when I got back home were not the big events but the smaller ones that didn't happen when I was supposed to be there, but rather when I was not.

This was a really enjoyable tour and a great way to explore the area without having to worry about planning everything myself. The entire experience felt well coordinated, from the beginning of the tour to the final stop. I particularly enjoyed the way the itinerary was arranged because there was a good balance between sightseeing, relaxing, and having enough time to appreciate each location. The tour guide was approachable, patient, and provided useful information throughout the journey. I also liked that the schedule was clear and easy to follow. Overall, I had a fantastic time, saw some beautiful places, and created some great memories. I would definitely recommend this tour to other travelers.
