You have two options for this tour; Option 1 - Two Tickets - Fly into Tokyo and fly out of Osaka Option 2 - Bullet Train Back To Tokyo - We offer a Shinkansen (Bullet Train) ticket back to Tokyo and the journey will start from 6am. You can tell your tour guide the time of your flight and they will be able to book you onto the correct train to give you enough time to get to the airport. The cost for this is $275 AUD

I have question regarding food option for vegetarian (i can eat dairy and chicken eggs but no fish, chicken, meat,pork). would there be options or accomodations for it or would i be paying for those as extra.

We do offer vegetarian options for the food that is included as part of the tour. For finding food yourself, I would advise you to use Happy Cow app/website which can help to find restaurants that match your dietary requirements.

Is there a package that includes plane tickets?

We don't have any flight package deals, however, if you check websites such as Skyscanner or Trip.com they are great price comparison sites. I find it useful to either book with them, or, find the airlines offering flights on my preffered travel dates and then check direct on the airline's website.

Is there anyway to give them private rooms? and transportation from Osaka to Tokyo because their flight departs from Narita. In case we can do those changes, what would be the new price?

Unfortunately we don't have any private twin rooms throughout the tour and there would be multishare nights that we can't guarantee their privacy in, for example in Kyoto for 3 nights and 1 night in Takayama for the unique temple stay, all other nights we can ensure they have a twin room.

I am in Abu Dhabi and there is a problem in air travel...I am interested in this tour...is there space and if I fly in one city I will beed to leave from that city and this tour looks like it does not do this...please advise

I have 3 adults traveling together. How would accomodations work for this per person price? We do not want to have 3 people in a room with 2 twin beds.

You can choose which 2 of you stay together when twin rooms are used on the tour, the 3rd traveller will be paired with another traveller of the same gender. When multishare rooms apply, we generally split the group by males and females for everyones comfort. So if you were all female for example you would all be in the same multishare room.

I am very interested in your 10 day Japan trip with my husband, mom, and uncle. I love the itinerary you have for this tour and love the additional add on activities. It is exactly what I was looking for. I am wondering if you have any flexibility with the age range? My mom is 69 but very functional and completely independent. I am wondering if she would be able to join me on this tour?

While we do try to be inclusive of as many ages as possible and have a higher age bracket than most operators around us, we do unfortunately need to adhere to our age guidelines. Though what I could propose is that is now 5 of you, we do run private group trips with a minimum of 7 people. There would see a price adjustment as well to close it off as a private tour and for you to have your own private guide.

Is it possible to book this trip in Spanish?

We will have an English speaking guide for the tour so we wouldn't be able to accommodate a Spanish speaking guide. If you can let me know which tour date your customer is looking to join, I can see if there are any other Spanish speaking guests on the tour.

I'm looking for a tour of smaller more cultural areas off the main tourist areas. Don't want 4 days of Tokyo sightseeing. Do u have suggestions?

Why does the 10 day Japan trip have a max age of 59?

Due to the nature of the activity levels on this tour, especially in destinations like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka where we can cover upwards of 20,000 steps a day. Additionally, on travel days, we'll be carrying our own luggage through metro stations. Taking this into account and and marjority of our guests being 20-35 we decided to cap the tour age at 59.

But the tour really came together because of our stellar tour guide, Anna. She was extremely knowledgeable about how to get around each of the cities we visited and always had lists of excellent recommendations for additional activities we could do in our free time. She expertly adjusted the tour schedule to accommodate diverse interests and keep everything on track and brought positive energy and an air of competence to every interaction. I don’t travel much let alone travel abroad. That being said, this was a great experience pretty much driven by Jordan and his enthusiasm. His updates on the current day’s and next day’s activities always kept the group properly informed. He was extremely knowledgeable about what we were going to see in Japan and extra little items that only a local or well informed person would know about Japan. He also had the daunting task of keeping up with everyone during our train excursions, and the group never missed a stop and no one was ever left behind. He easily managed all of the train tickets for the entire group which was also very impressive. He put forth 100% effort to keep the group entertained and engaged allowing us to more easily bond throughout our tour. Lastly, during the 10 day tour Jordan was able to keep a positive attitude the entire time. Given his realities that is quite impressive. I only regret not signing up for the 14 day trip. I had a great time. I couldn’t ask for much more I could than that.Show more

Visited some great places and did so many fun activities that I probably wouldn’t have been able to do if I had organised the trip myself (e.g. the temple stay and Kendo class).   What would be the price difference for this kind of itinerary for a private group? Do you have any options with a similar itinerary that has a higher age limit?

  Unfortunately we don't have any alternative itinerary that has an open age limit. While we could look at privatising the departure, the price would be considerably more, possible 1 or 2 thousand dollars more per travellers. This would allow us to run the tour with a smaller number and still provide you your own private tour guide.

Is it possible to book this trip in Spanish?

  We will have an English speaking guide for the tour so we wouldn't be able to accommodate a Spanish speaking guide. If you can let me know which tour date your customer is looking to join, I can see if there are any other Spanish speaking guests on the tour.

  I wouldn't be able to guarantee a Spanish speaking guide unfortunately, and all of our current guides are English speakers. It might be best to check back in at the end of the year and we can check if there will be Spanish speaking travellers on the tour that your client can socialise with, but again, it's unlikely the guide will be Spanish speaking - but worth checking in just in case!

Why does the 10 day Japan trip have a max age of 59?

  Due to the nature of the activity levels on this tour, especially in destinations like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka where we can cover upwards of 20,000 steps a day. Additionally, on travel days, we'll be carrying our own luggage through metro stations.
  
  Taking this into account and and marjority of our guests being 20-35 we decided to cap the tour age at 59.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with One Life Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and One Life Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "One Life Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
