About me:“We’re all stories in the end, so make it a good one.” That quote has followed me around the world, and now it follows me onto every tour I lead. I love that for some people Japan is their first big adventure, for others it’s somewhere they’ve dreamed about for years, and sometimes it’s simply the next chapter in a much bigger story. I started guiding a welcome week in Sydney, watching people meet their first kangaroo, see the Opera House and discover that standing on a surfboard is considerably harder than Australians make it look. Now I get to introduce people to Japan, from the places you’ve had saved on Instagram for years to tiny bars, konbinis, questionable karaoke performances and the wonderfully weird moments that make absolutely no sense anywhere else. I don’t think a great tour is just about ticking places off a map. It’s about the people you meet, the ridiculous stories you collect and going home with memories you didn’t know you were going to make. I'm just lucky I get to be part of them.

The itinerary felt really well balanced and gave us the chance to see and experience so much without ever feeling too rushed.
Our guide, Charlie, made an already wonderful tour even more special. She was absolutely amazing, warm, helpful, fun, and always made sure everyone was having a great time. She really added so much to the whole experience!
Overall, it was an unforgettable trip and such a wonderful way to experience Japan. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and a huge thank you to Charlie for making it so special! ❤️

The tour has a great range of experiences from the vibrant and bustling cities to the mountains and quiet temples. There were lots of fun and interesting activities scheduled throughout and particular activity highlights were the Kendo and sushi making classes. It was incredible to be able to stay in temples in and get really immersed in Japanese culture.
I think the tour has a nice blend of culture and fun and feel there’s something for everyone included. The schedule was quite busy with a fair amount of travelling and early starts, but it’s worth it to see the many things Japan has to offer.
Our guide Charlie was friendly and helpful throughout and provided lots of suggestions of activities during downtime which were appropriate to the group. Charlie was patient and accommodating of the many questions we had, and whilst there were some questions that couldn’t be answered straight away, Charlie always checked details of the itinerary and timings for us promptly and was willing to research info to answer our questions and learn for future tours. Charlie was up for socialising with the group during downtime and brought a fun energy to the tour.

Charlie consistently ensured everyone in the group was safe, comfortable, and enjoying themselves. She regularly checked in to make sure we were all okay and was quick to help if anyone needed assistance. Her friendly, organised, and approachable nature made travelling around Tokyo easy and stress-free.
Although it was only a short 4-day snapshot of Tokyo, Charlie made every moment count. Her enthusiasm and professionalism created a fantastic group atmosphere and made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone travelling with TourRadar.

We just needed to show up on time which was easy when there's a busy and exciting day ahead, each day. There was a nice mix of couples, solo travellers, age groups and nationalities, and everyone genuinely got on great. Get booking, and enjoy!

The tour was great with a variety of places! There is a good balance of free time and scheduled activities, and great recommendations if you are ever looking for things to fill your time. It does hit most major points of southern Japan, but if you have the time to take the 14 day instead, I would recommend doing that as 10 days doesn't feel long enough!
