Please kindly note that this itinerary currently includes all the main highlights except Hiroshima. Sumo Lunch Experience: USD188 per person. This is a non-private experience (no transfer included). Drinks and alcoholic beverages are to be paid by guests on-site. The menu cannot be pre-selected. Includes a sumo wrestler performance. Please note that during official sumo tournament periods, this experience may not be available, as the wrestlers may be away competing. Will we be able to 1) have a traditional tea w geishas 2) sumo demonstration and Pokémon store?

As this tour is a group tour, the itinerary and included activities are fixed. We're not able to add extra activities such as a traditional tea experience with geishas, a sumo demonstration, or additional shopping stops (like the Pokémon Store) into the arranged schedule. However, if you have free time during the tour or after the tour ends, you are more than welcome to arrange these activities independently at your convenience.

Is this date available? Is insurance included on the actual tour?

Yes, the date start from 16th June and end on 24th June is available, but the insurance is not included in the tour price. You can buy the insurance seperately from Tour Radar page.

What is the physical activity on this tour? and when traveling between cities, how is the customers' luggage handled?

Overall, this itinerary is designed to be quite comfortable, with most days arranged in a relaxed and easy-paced manner. Day 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10 include private vehicle transportation, making the days smooth and convenient with minimal walking required. Day 7 in Hiroshima involves sightseeing by public transportation with walking at a moderate level. For luggage, you would only need to manage your own luggage on Day 1 (airport to hotel), Day 8 (hotel to station to Tokyo hotel), and final day (hotel to airport).

Question since this was offered as level 3 or level 4 grade hotels does this mean there will be two groups and a morning pick up drop off of the other group each day?, I am interested to see the cost of holiday if grade 3 hotels chosen, listing etc. So yes still interested, at this early stage have you any idea of group size? Yes must leave 23June 2026 as in Singapore for function on the 20th June, could possibly start on 22nd if required. Yes am looking at all options

The group size will not exceed 16 people, but typically we have around 8 travelers per group. This tour only includes 4-star hotels, and everyone stays together in the same group — there are no separate pickups or drop-offs for different hotel levels. One of the best travel experiences of my life was the 9 Days In-Depth Cultural Japan tour. The plan wasn't just about the famous places to see but also a more in-depth study of the local culture, traditions, and lifestyles of Japan. From the old temples to the quiet bamboo forests, the traditional village life and the peaceful countryside towns, we learned about the many different facets of the country's history. Our guide was excellent and very passionate in his presentation about Japanese culture. They gave an explanation which was interesting and easily understood about the significance of historical sites, local customs, and festivals. They were very organized and served the entire group so everyone had a great time and no stress. The travel time was on time, the hotels were comfortable and the daily programme was well balanced. We didn't feel rushed at all and had plenty of time to shoot photos, do some shopping and sample local cuisine. At the conclusion of the tour, I felt I had got much more of a feel of Japan than I would have by travelling on my own. My time on this tour was great, I would recommend it to any visitor to this area. From the time of pick-up everything was organized professionally and according to schedule. The route was well planned and included some really great attractions and hidden spots which I might not have stumbled upon. The guide was outstanding – very friendly, patient and really knew his stuff about the local history and culture. At each stop they shared interesting stories making it educational and entertaining. I never felt rushed at all and had time to take pictures and even wander around and enjoy the surrounding. The trip was easy to travel on and the size of the group was perfect for everyone to get to know each other without being overcrowded. In general, it was a great value for money and a very good time was had. One of the highlights of my trip and I would definitely be booking with this company again in the future.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $75 is required to confirm your booking with UME Travel Co. Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and UME Travel Co. Ltd will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "UME Travel Co. Ltd" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
