Yes you will have the tour guide with you the entire tour except for during the free days. We only operate the deluxe package with 4 star hotels on Sep 11th and Oct 9th.

Will you provide details on train trip from Osaka airport to hotel? Do you advice on any fees or visa requirements to enter Japan?

Yes we will send detailed instructions for the transfer from airport to the first night hotel. It's only one stop away. Japan travel visa is not required for U.S. citizens.

Is there a stipend to pay for a solo traveler to have their own room and what the temperature will be in Japan in December?

The single supplement is 568 USD for this tour. The average high temperature for early December is: 12°C – 15°C (54°F – 59°F). The average low temperature is: 4°C – 7°C (39°F – 45°F).

To start with we had booked the deluxe tour with the luxury hotels, but a couple weeks before the trip they notified us there were not enough people for that trip, so we had to downgrade. The hotels were not great….very small rooms in several of them. Additionally, our guide was not the best. She often gave us a brief overview of the stop and then left us to walk through on our own. Would have appreciated more information from her. We saw some very beautiful and interesting sites, however. The shrines were magnificent. The 17th Century village was very fascinating.
