Dear John, Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us! And I am so glad that you enjoyed the tour overall especially the services from Trend-one of our best tour guides! On this tour the Kyoto Half Day tour and Tokyo Full Day tour are indeed included with the tour. The optional tour you mentioned could be the Osaka Castle tour that wasn't included but was requested by one of the group members. This tour doesn't include lunches or dinners. This is to allow full flexibility for the group members. Sometimes our group members may hang out with each other after the tour finishes. We actually avoid after-hour activities to ensure enough rest for the tour guide and especially the bus driver. We truly appreciate your feedback. And thanks again for taking this tour with us. We wish you a wonderful day and cheerful holiday season with you family!

    Reply from: Stunning Tours
Dear George, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed Japan’s beautiful sights, the comfortable hotels, and the well-planned itinerary. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during the tour. Regarding the Osaka Castle visit, this was indeed an optional tour that was suggested by another group of guests who wished to include it. It was completely optional and not part of the standard itinerary, so guests could decide freely whether or not to join. We’re sorry this wasn’t made clearer during the trip. As for the payment issue with the Hiroshima optional tour, it was caused by a technical problem with the local merchant service provider, which led to duplicate transaction attempts. This was an isolated and very rare situation—in fact, it’s the first time we’ve encountered this kind of error with credit card processing in Japan. We completely understand how stressful that must have been, and we have since reinforced our payment procedures to ensure it never happens again. We also take your comments about the guide’s behavior and time management very seriously. Leaving guests behind and unclear communication are not acceptable, and we have addressed this directly with our Japan operations team to ensure proper retraining and oversight. Thank you again for acknowledging the many positive aspects of the tour, and for sharing your honest feedback. It helps us improve and maintain the service quality we strive for. We truly hope you will consider traveling with us again for a smoother and even more enjoyable experience in the future.
