  Our tour guide, Andre, was exceptional, very funny and educational. Everything was very organized and local customs were explained in a clear manner. Andre even gave recommendations for after the tour ended since my friend and I extended our trip. The hotels were good, transport between cities was great. Wonderful experience, highly recommend!Show more

  Overall tour was ok. Group size was perfect. Could have done an extra day at mount Fugi. Itinerary was packed and rushed. Too many shrines and temples with no time to immerse. Our suggestion would be to pick one or two temple/shrine visits and add food type experience day.Show more

  The Stunning tour guide Kentaro was excellent: patient, experienced, knowledgeable, funny. He provided a lot of tips on Japanese customs and behavior, a lot of background on history, traditions, education, politics and every day life. The itinerary was varied and included historic and religious sites, combined with nature and modern technology. We felt that we experienced every aspect of life in Japan, both urban centers and country.Show more

  my father and I did this tour last month and we truly enjoyed it. The itinerary was very professional allowing us to see most of the iconic sights in just 8 days. The hotels were nice, clean and comfortable. The one hotel in Tokyo was quite small but we were told it was a general thing in Japan. Overall I am very happy with the arrangements.Show more

  The itinerary was poorly planned. We spent two days in Osaka; while some members of the group visited Hiroshima, those who opted not to go were left with essentially not much to do. In many other locations, the tour guide would simply drop the group off at the attraction's entrance—instructing us when and where to reconvene—and then leave us to explore the site on our own, offering no accompanying commentary or guidance within the attraction itself. With the exception of our first night in Osaka, the hotel rooms provided in every other location were far too small—so cramped, in fact, that it was difficult even to open a suitcase. All in all, this was the worst tour I have ever participated in.Show more

In these cases, guides may provide a briefing at the entrance to ensure the safety and mobility of all guests. However, we regret that this felt like a lack of support, and we are looking into ways to better provide historical context during these high-traffic periods. Itinerary Structure Your points regarding the Osaka itinerary are very well-taken. While the Hiroshima trip is intended as a premier option, we recognize that we must provide a more robust and engaging schedule for those who prefer to stay in the city. We are currently re-evaluating our local Osaka offerings to ensure every guest has a fulfilling experience, regardless of the excursions they choose. Room Dimensions in Japan We understand that the size of the accommodations was a source of frustration. In Japan’s major metropolitan areas—especially Tokyo—hotel rooms are notoriously compact, prioritizing efficiency and location over square footage. While this is a standard characteristic of urban Japanese hospitality, we apologize for the discomfort this caused and the difficulty you had with your luggage.
