The hotels shown in the itinerary are planned hotels, and the final hotel is confirmed 24–48 hours before the start of the tour, depending on availability. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific hotel in advance, but you will be accommodated in one of the listed (or similar) options. If you plan to arrive earlier, we can add pre-tour nights for you. By booking these nights with us, you will be placed in the same hotel as the group once it is confirmed. Regarding the airport transfer, it is only included on the official start day of the tour. If you arrive earlier, the transfer would not be included, but we can certainly help guide you on how to reach the hotel. The Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima end Tokyo tour does not include Hakone or Mount Fuji. However, we can offer you alternative tours that do include these destinations.

We are seniors, and we were wondering how our luggage would be handled on this tour. Can you please help me with this question?

Coach tours: Maximum of one suitcase per person, with a maximum weight of 30 kg (66 lbs). Small wheeled suitcases are not permitted inside the vehicle. Luggage compartment is sized to accommodate only one standard suitcase per passenger. Carry-on luggage must be very small with no designated storage.

Is it possible then to take this tour?

The arrival transfer is included from the airport to our hotel on the date that you prefer. If you arrive at port, we are unable to give the transfer, however you can start the tour that day without problem. Currently our regular departures are operating with a minimum of two passengers.

Touring was good. Nadia was the best guide ever. Midori was also good. Madori was hyper and very personal with everyone. She made everything pop and you wanted more of her. She was gooooood. Ken got tooooo personal with history and Hiroshimo. He seemed angry. He challenged questions and answers that were given. Most all on tour was immigrants. He talked bad about immigrants. He made it so personal at Hiroshimo that we started walking away and walking around. He was too overboard with the history in an angry way. Ken would get angry when other guides would just say hello. He would say they know better to not talk to his tourist. He scolded EVERYONE on the bus to not talk to other guides. He soon apologized for his behavior. He then asked for tips. My aunt, who was on tour with us, who is also Japanese, said Japanese people never ask for tips. Another bitter moment was we had to go to airport without our luggage. The hotel could not locate our luggage. The transport could not wait any longer for them to find it. We had to get out of line at airport to meet a tour guide at the train station in the airport to get our luggage after they found it. It was a complete disaster. Ken get big credits for getting one of the guides to bring our luggage to the airport before us leaving without it. We had difficulty with the airlines, but that had nothing to do with tour Radar.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $125 is required to confirm your booking with Europamundo. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Europamundo will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
