  Everything was really organized well. The hotel they chose was very rustic and had a real Egyptian feel to it. The guides were professional and on time. They helped us to get around and took us to government shops where we were sure we were getting original items to purchase. The Nile cruise was one of my highlights. Magic 1 was great. I recommend them if you are ever thinking of going to egypt. They are very reaonable as well. Other tours offering the same package were double the cost i paid here. My fave guides were Mike and Khaled....I would definitely ask for them if I go to Egypt again.Show more

  I was extremely disappointed with this tour company. As a solo female traveller, I was assured I would have a guide with me at all times however this was not the case, nor was I part of a group (except on the Nile Cruise) even though on their website it does state Max group size 12. Catching the night train from Cairo to Aswan (12hrs) and then Luxor to Giza (8hrs) on my own was never stipulated nor was I offered the sleeping cabin option, I would of been happy to pay for this. The guide on the Nile Cruise will change the itinerary to add in extra activities around what is already provided, understandably this will cost you extra, should you not want to take part in the extra activities we were advised you will remain in the motor vechile until the others have finished their activities. Finally to make matters worst, on my final day, my driver had mechanical issues with his car that lead to missing my return flight, they refused to book another vehicle or take any responsibility. All the guides were very professional and had a wealth of knowledge. I guess I would of had a different experience if I had a travel partner.............Show more

  Dear Valued Guest ( 1- You had guide all the time except in the overnight train , it is 3 doubles cost for your tour to make a guide accompany you in the train only to sleep the overnight and we don't think you are happy to pay this ,, The guide in the Cruise didn't change anything , he just went with the other guest who were happy to pay to go to Abu Simbel EXCEPT YOU , 2- On day 7 , it suppose to pick you up from the train station to Cairo airport DIRECTLY as states in the itinerary and when you arrived at 5 AM you CHANGED IT and decided to go to Alexandria and we warned you that it will make you lose the flight and you didn't listen to us and this is proved via Whats app chat and when you missed your flight you asked me kindly for financial help in very friendly way because you simply couldn't blame or complaint us and we gave you 500 Egyptian pound to show support and respect although it was YOUR decision and your mistake ,, 3- You don't have a problem with the hotels , train , Nile Cruise , pick up , transfers and all guided tour specially ALL of them were very professional and had a wealth of knowledge as described by you even though it is 1 star review which show it is a REVENGE review for your own mistake HOW CONVENIENT ??? ) Kind Regards and all the Best

I received excellent service through and through from the airport pick up to a full day of activities in and around Luxor. First was three amazing temples in the Valley of the Kings.   Our tour guide Hany and driver Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure that my sister's and I had a great time!! Hany our tour guide was exceptional and very informative. He also took us to several places to make purchases and eat excellent food! The train ride wasn't a bad experience for the price and was overnight so no daytime hours were lost. I highly recommend this tour. We met some great people along the way and I will make contact when I return back to Luxor in coming months. Thank you so much for a great time!!Show more

  Accommodations were subpar. We hit all the highlights. Transportation was great with the exception of requesting not to ride a horse drawn carriage and being told it was the only option. Also while on the trip, I was talking to a fellow traveler who paid the same and received better accommodations for the same trip. I would not recommend the trip unless they have a sale going on as I feel I paid too much for what I received.Show more

We would like to clear some point as the following : ( 1- Horse carriage was used in Kom Ombo temple and this is the only way to reach the temple plus it was included , your didn't pay anything ,,,, 2- Amaranate Hotel in Cairo and Samiramis 2 Nile Cruise are the best choices , Please google the prices plus the tours , great transportation and guide and all transfers everywhere instead of talking about your FEELING for the price specially you know the prices with what includes and excludes before you book the trip , 3- Did you ask the fellow travelers when they booked and if he was a Solo traveler as you or not before you give misleading information to the future guests ) ,,, We really appreciate every word you have written and we will do our best to make our service meet our guests' desires ,, All the Best ,, Egypt Best Holidays Team

  We just completed a 2 day guided tour of Cairo. We have been on other tours around the world but I have to say our tour guide, Sameh, was THE BEST TOUR GUIDE we’ve ever had. Day 1 he picked us up at 8am and he took us to Saqqara, the first pyramid. He gave us options on the type of tour we wanted to experience. For example he asked did we just want to stop for photos or did we want to know the history. We chose the history one. What an absolute treat. He is a treasure trove of facts and figures but more importantly his story telling transports you back in time. There really is nothing better than a history lesson drawn on the sands of the Cairo desert. Next we visited the great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. This was a dream come true for us. It’s jaw droppingly beautiful . If it hadn’t been for Sameh we wouldn’t have taken those photos. You know the ones, kissing the Sphinx, touching the tops of the Pyramids etc. Not only are you getting a tour guide but you are also getting a photographer. He was able to give us pointers on who and how much to tip and how to ignore the trinket sellers etc. Dotted throughout the tour were stops to carpet making schools, paper (papyrus) making demonstrations and a perfume shop. These were all optional but very informative. I think he could go all day without eating but he did bring us to a local felafel restaurant. The food was quick, inexpensive and delicious. (4 felafel sandwiches and a drink for $2!) Day 2 was a later start (9am) but a longer day, as he was also accompanying us to our overnight train. Day 2, we did the Coptic area of Cairo, the Citadel and finally the Egyptian Museum. Words can’t do justice to either day. Sameh again used story telling to explain the birth of Christianity in Egypt. Showing us the Hanging Church, where the Virgin Mary appeared and also the church of st Sergius. Where the holy family stayed during their 3 year stay in Cairo. During the time here and at the Citadel he explained the differences and similarities between the Islamic and Christian religions. While at the citadel we heard the call to prayer and witnessed people observing their faith. We felt welcomed equally in both places. Again we were hungry and we stopped at a place beside the museum. A place called la poire. While the interior was “prettier” and the service was amazing and the coffee DELICIOUS! It was more expensive and we did prefer the food at the felafel place. Sameh told us we would...seriously he knows everything. Last trip was the Egyptian Museum- we were there for 2 1/2 hrs and it only felt like 15 mins. At every site, throughout the 2 days, Sameh starts by giving the information and ends with giving you “free time” to explore by yourself. After the museum we were brought to the Cairo train station- which was much needed and appreciated. It’s not that you feel unsafe, it’s just so confusing with 20 plus platforms and signage only in Arabic. That said our 2 day trip to Cairo was unforgettable. We are definitely going to plan another trip to Cairo and we are only going to use Sameh.Show more
