Can we change the train from Cairo to Aswan for a flight? If so, how much would it cost?

To upgrade the train from Cairo to Aswan that's means extra night plus transfers to Cairo airport and pick up from Aswan airport,,, this all will cost 120 USD extra per person. On day 6 ,,, if you want to upgrade to a flight in return ,, that means 90 USD extra per person with transfer to Luxor airport and pick up from Cairo airport on day 6 evening time. Also there is an option to upgrade the train to be sleeping train both ways for 120 USD per person in total.

What hotels will be included in the package? What is the cost to upgrade to sleeper train? What does the Nile cruise accommodations look like?

The hotel for day 1 is Pyramids Planet Hotel in Giza. For the Nile Cruise it's 5 star boat with restaurants and swimming pool in the upper deck. Sleeper train supplement is 180 USD extra per person in twin both ways, it includes dinner and breakfast each way.

Advise if hot balloon add on is available for this tour?

The hot air balloon is available for this tour as extra, i will add it if you want to the reservation via add on after your proceed with the booking

Yes there is option to upgrade to sleeper train both ways (You will have a bed in twin room and you will be shared by another solo traveler in the sleeper train only)

When seeing the Great Pyramids, will there be an opportunity to ride camels to the pyramids? Also on the west bank of Luxor, would a hot balloon flight be a possibility to do without taking away from any of the other planned activities?

They helped us to get around and took us to government shops where we were sure we were getting original items to purchase. The Nile cruise was one of my highlights. Magic 1 was great. I recommend them if you are ever thinking of going to egypt. They are very reaonable as well. Other tours offering the same package were double the cost i paid here. My fave guides were Mike and Khaled....I would definitely ask for them if I go to Egypt again.Show more

I was extremely disappointed with this tour company. As a solo female traveller, I was assured I would have a guide with me at all times however this was not the case, nor was I part of a group (except on the Nile Cruise) even though on their website it does state Max group size 12. Catching the night train from Cairo to Aswan (12hrs) and then Luxor to Giza (8hrs) on my own was never stipulated nor was I offered the sleeping cabin option, I would of been happy to pay for this. The guide on the Nile Cruise will change the itinerary to add in extra activities around what is already provided, understandably this will cost you extra, should you not want to take part in the extra activities we were advised you will remain in the motor vechile until the others have finished their activities. Finally to make matters worst, on my final day, my driver had mechanical issues with his car that lead to missing my return flight, they refused to book another vehicle or take any responsibility. All the guides were very professional and had a wealth of knowledge. I guess I would of had a different experience if I had a travel partner.............Show more

Dear Valued Guest ( 1- You had guide all the time except in the overnight train , it is 3 doubles cost for your tour to make a guide accompany you in the train only to sleep the overnight and we don't think you are happy to pay this ,, The guide in the Cruise didn't change anything , he just went with the other guest who were happy to pay to go to Abu Simbel EXCEPT YOU , 2- On day 7 , it suppose to pick you up from the train station to Cairo airport DIRECTLY as states in the itinerary and when you arrived at 5 AM you CHANGED IT and decided to go to Alexandria and we warned you that it will make you lose the flight and you didn't listen to us and this is proved via Whats app chat and when you missed your flight you asked me kindly for financial help in very friendly way because you simply couldn't blame or complaint us and we gave you 500 Egyptian pound to show support and respect although it was YOUR decision and your mistake ,, 3- You don't have a problem with the hotels , train , Nile Cruise , pick up , transfers and all guided tour specially ALL of them were very professional and had a wealth of knowledge as described by you even though it is 1 star review which show it is a REVENGE review for your own mistake HOW CONVENIENT ??? ) Kind Regards and all the Best

Our tour guide Hany and driver Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure that my sister's and I had a great time!! Hany our tour guide was exceptional and very informative. He also took us to several places to make purchases and eat excellent food! The train ride wasn't a bad experience for the price and was overnight so no daytime hours were lost. Accommodations were subpar. We hit all the highlights. Transportation was great with the exception of requesting not to ride a horse drawn carriage and being told it was the only option. Also while on the trip, I was talking to a fellow traveler who paid the same and received better accommodations for the same trip. I would not recommend the trip unless they have a sale going on as I feel I paid too much for what I received.Show more
