- Day 1
Arrival in Osaka
You'll land at Kansai International Airport and head to your hotel using the directions provided. The good news is most hotels sit just one train station away from the airport, so getting there is straightforward. Keep in mind check-in doesn't start until 3 PM, so you might want to grab lunch or walk around the airport area if you arrive earlier.

- Day 2
Nara
This morning you'll drive out to Nara for a half-day trip. First stop is Nara Park where you can see Todaiji Temple with its massive 15-meter Buddha statue and walk around while feeding the free-roaming deer with special deer senbei crackers. After that, you head to Kasuga Taisha, which is one of Nara's most important shrines. By afternoon you'll drive back to Osaka and settle into your new hotel.

- Day 3
Osaka (Free Day / Optional Hiroshima)
You've got the day to yourself in Osaka, so you can explore whatever interests you. Or if you want a structured experience, there's an optional tour that takes you on the famous Shinkansen bullet train to Hiroshima. That trip includes Itsukushima Shrine and Miyajima Island, the Atomics Dome, Ground Zero, and Peace Memorial Park. It's door-to-door service, so no worrying about transportation.

Osaka to Kyoto
You'll leave Osaka for Kyoto this morning and begin touring the ancient city. Start with Fushimi Inari Shrine early in the day, then you'll have some free time to grab lunch wherever you like. In the afternoon, you'll visit Kinkakuji Temple, the famous Golden Pavilion. From there, you'll travel to your hotel in the Hida Takayama area.

- Day 5
Shirakawa-Go to Matsumoto
Today brings you to Shirakawa-Go, a UNESCO World Heritage site tucked in the mountains that was historically isolated from the outside world. You'll walk through the village and see the distinctive Gassho-style houses that were originally built for mulberry cultivation and silkworm farming. Later you'll stop at Takayama Jinya, an old government building, then continue to your hotel in either the Matsumoto or Suwa area.

- Day 6
Mt Fuji to Tokyo
After breakfast, you'll drive up to Mt Fuji's 5th Station at 2,300 meters for views of the mountain and the surrounding lakes (weather permitting). You can check out the shrines, walk through torii gates, and browse souvenir shops. Next you'll head to Lake Kawaguchi for a short boat ride with mountain views. Then it's time to transfer to Tokyo, where you'll finish the evening at Nakamise shopping street and visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, one of Japan's most significant Buddhist temples.

- Day 7
Tokyo City Tour
Your Tokyo City Tour starts with the Imperial Palace, followed by a visit to a secret Japanese traditional rock garden. From there, you'll spend time in Odaiba City checking out views of Gundam and stopping for lunch. Later you'll see the Shibuya Scramble crossing, then Tokyo Tower. The day wraps up with a drive through Shinjuku Kabukicho to see the neon and energy of the neighborhood.

After breakfast, your tour guide will go over the best route to get to either Haneda or Narita Airport depending on which one your flight departs from. Make sure you leave in time to catch your flight home. Your Japan trip comes to an end.
