My boyfriend and I booked this tour for out 10 year anniversary, and it was amazing!!! It was our first time in Egypt and we had a great time exploring the Ancient history with Beyond The Nile Tours. Our first tour guide Omar was so knowledgeable, it was a pleasure to have him guide us through the Pyramids and the GEM. The Nile River cruise was wonderful, calm and we met some beautiful people on the cruise ship. Yes, we had some very early starts (3:30am wake up) but it was very necessary as it was summer and the temperature was a high of 47 degrees. Everyone was kind and very helpful. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore Egypt. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special!Show more

Very up and down. The itinerary was very good. The food was pretty good and the accommodations were very good. Especially the AC on the boat was amazing. However, had some issues with different people. The guy who was the coordinator who said to call him”Mr. Big” was very argumentative! He was 40 minutes late to the first meeting which made me lose a reservation I had already made. When he found out I was going to Libya next in my trip he started mocking me and telling me I was wasting my money. He asked for a tip several times. When we were back I told him I needed to leave at a certain time. He said no I didn’t that I needed to leave an hour and half later. He physically grabbed lymphoma from my hands and said Jo, this is the time you will leave. I said Jo, I needed to leave at this time. The plane left at 7:40 and leaving at the time I said, I barely made the flight. If I had left when he said Inwoule have missed my flight. Terrible. The guides also were way too micromanaging. Never gave us any free time at the places we needed to go. I wanted to take a picture one time and the guide yelled at me that I “would not take a picture until later.” Like WTH!?! We should be able to honor our own and look at the stuff and not be dragged around all day. Also, the guide wanted to leave extra early so made us leave early even when there was no need to.Show more

Had a great time exploring Egypt with Beyond the Nile. Big Mo has a Big personality, Adbul and Ashraf are excellent tour guides who helped us understand the amazing sights and sites we were seeing. Was ridiculously hot walking around in the sun in Egyptian summer, but this also contributed to us having a small tour group(14). Whilst we did see all the amazing things we wanted too, we probably got the order wrong and I'd suggest you book cruising down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan as it gives you an extra day and you end with grandest of all temples last. We felt safe at all times and can't speak highly enough of Abdul and Ashraf as guides. The accommodations were excellent and both tours and transfers were organised well. Unfortunately Nile Air ran 3 hours late meaning we missed one temple visit, hot air ballooning was cancelled and Tour Radar are yet to respond about reimbursement for these things we paid for. Had these gone well it would have been a 5 star trip.Show more
