Egypt itself is absolutely stunning — from the ancient wonders to the vibrant culture and welcoming people, it’s a destination everyone should experience. With a guide like Ash, you won’t just see Egypt, you’ll feel it.
Ash always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. He taught us a few Arabic words, shared local insights, and his humor kept our group laughing the whole time. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in sharing the beauty of Masr (Egypt).

His knowledge of Egypt’s history, culture, and sites was endless, and he patiently answered all of our questions in remarkable detail, enriching our understanding and appreciation of this magnificent country.
Ashraf went above and beyond to ensure we felt cared for at every step. He was attentive to our needs, always looking out for us—whether it was buying us water, organizing breaks when we needed them, or helping us interact with locals. His kindness, patience, humor, and genuine friendliness made our trip feel like traveling with a trusted friend rather than just a guide. His extra effort to make our experience as magical as possible truly made this journey unforgettable.
As for the cruise and tour itself, everything was flawlessly organized. From start to finish, every detail was thought of so we could relax and enjoy every moment. We visited all the major sites, gaining rich personal and cultural experiences along the way. Egypt proved to be a safe, welcoming, and awe-inspiring destination—definitely a trip of a lifetime.
We wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone. It exceeded all our expectations, and we are already planning to return and book with this company again. This was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The holiday then got even better on arrival in Luxor where we met Ashraf, our awesome guide throughout the cruise. He was generous, and funny and just had so much knowledge about everything and answered any question we had. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and had time for relaxing and enjoying the sites. The monuments of Egypt were stunning, especially Abu Simbel. The service throughout was spectacular, everything was superbly organized and we were well taken care of. Ashraf was amazing throughout and I highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in Egypt or just a luxury and adventurous experience.

His kindness, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the sites and temples made our experience smoother, more stress-free, and utterly memorable. He even did his best to fulfill all our requests. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and in future if we visit, we will ask for him. Thank you so so much, Ashraf.
This tour was very enjoyable. The itinerary was excellent and included all the places I wanted to see and more. The itinerary was excellent and included all the places I wanted to see and more. Ashraf, the guide for the cruise part of the trip, was outstanding - excellent English, knowledge of all the places we visited, and was especially good at catering to the individual needs of the 10 of us on the trip, including helping me to take a few extra pictures here and there and visiting a couple of places not on the itinerary. His timekeeping was perfect and allowed just the right amount of free time in each place.
Prior to the trip, the customer service from Beyond the Nile could have been better, but that is a minor issue and the tour itself was excellent and I would recommend Beyond the Nile and especially this tour to others.
