The Nile cruise if 5 days 3 nights so it starts from Feb 19th at 09:00 am and ends on Feb 23rd at 18:00. (check in at 13:00/check out at 10:00 am.)

We are planning to book our cruise starting from March 19th; according to what I read the tour will start from Luxor airport at 6am on that day, is it right? What time is it gonna finish on March 23rd (I'd book my flight accodingly). What about the optional tour in Abu Simbel?

The tour will starts on Day 1 at 06:00 am and ends in Aswan on day 5 approx. at 16:00. Abu Simbel optional tour will cost you 125 USD per person. Entrance Fees: Approximately USD 165 per person, covering all regular sites included in your itinerary.

The food was also of very good quality and the buffets varied. The pick-up on arrival in Luxor and drop-off in Aswan was a big plus, and the staff (including our guide) were very accommodating in dropping us off and making sure that everything went smoothly for us afterwards. WhatsApp groups and message exchanges made it easy to pass on information throughout the trip and keep us up to date easily. The company was also easy to contact the day before the cruise to organize our arrival at the ship. The visits planned during the trip were meticulous and on schedule. The temples we visited were absolutely magnificent, and the fact that we arrived early at the sites enabled us to avoid the tourist crowds on more than one occasion (since the cruise ships follow each other and all the tourists arrive at the same sites on the same day). We were given good advice on how to ensure our "safety" in the city, and visits to certified 100% cotton stores, natural stones etc. helped us to get away from the counterfeit goods sold in the souks. The extra activities on offer are also really great and well organized. They're well worth doing! Medhat, our English guide for the week, was friendly and accommodating throughout. He remained professional. Still, there are a few negative points to raise, which we would have liked to know before we left. The day before our arrival we received a WhatsApp message to warn us that we had an extra charge of between $135 and $175 to pay on arrival to cover the cost of entry to the sites. This information was nowhere to be found on our TourRadar booking page. In addition, a $60 tip is required for members of the boat. The company understood our astonishment and was very accommodating with us on this financial point, but it would be a good idea to mention it clearly on the site for future reference! It's important to bear in mind that the initial price is doubled if you add the cost of entrance fees, tips, drinks not included on the boat (even water) and extra activities. You should also be aware that if you choose not to take part in the extra activities, there are no activities in return, and sometimes these activities can take all day. 5 days and 4 nights are "included", but please note that meals are only included for 4 full days, not 5. A small negative point concerning the breakfast lunch boxes provided when we couldn't have them on the boat, which were of really poor quality. We also found that we didn't spend enough time in the temples overall, but that's up to each individual and how we manage our time there. Overall, the schedule is pretty tight and gives the impression of always being on the run, but that's quite understandable as you have to manage a group and keep to schedules for the cruise ship. Nevertheless, we had a great time and came away with many memories. It's an experience worth living!Show more

For tours departing after May 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Beyond The Nile Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Beyond The Nile Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Beyond The Nile Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
