  1. Is there time in Cairo to exlore Khan el-Khalili market? 2. Is there any free time in the desert to do excursions such as sand surfing or ride horses? As a separate excursion?

    There may be time to visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar while you are in Cairo, depending on the final itinerary and your available free time. This can also be arranged as an optional excursion.
    
    The standard tour does not include desert activities such as sandboarding or horse riding. These may be arranged separately, subject to availability and the tour schedule. Please discuss your preferences with our local representative, who can advise on suitable options and costs.

  Is the start date a travel day i.e. if it says Nov 3 then I should arrive in Cairo on Nov 3 & does it matter what time? Also the last date so if a tout is Nov 3-11 then I depart Cairo on the 11th & is transfer to airport included?

    Any time you want, but note the check in started from 13:00 in the first day, and check out 10:00 in the last day.
    
    Keep in mind that you are entitled to one complimentary transfer on the first day of the trip from Cairo Airport to our hotel, and another on the last day from our hotel to Cairo Airport.
    
    Any additional or different transfers will incur an extra cost.

    Additional costs may include optional excursions such as Abu Simbel, the Luxor hot-air balloon, Nubian Village, Karnak Sound and Light Show, and personal expenses. Tips are not included and are voluntary.
    
    We can also arrange up to four pre-tour nights at the tour hotel. Rates may differ from online prices because they can include taxes, service charges and tour-related arrangements.
    
    We can check Elite Pyramids Boutique Hotel and Marriott Mena House, although Marriott Mena House will normally be more expensive.
    
    Exact rates and optional-tour prices can be confirmed once your booking is made.

    The name of the Nile cruise will be confirmed approximately 30 days before departure, subject to availability.
    
    Cabin allocation is made by the cruise operator before embarkation, so unfortunately it is not possible to choose a specific cabin in advance. However, we have noted your preference for a cabin on the upper deck and away from the front of the ship, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

  Can you confirm what hotel or what area in Cairo for the first and last day? And since I will be in Cairo already, do I need to make my way to the hotel or will there be a pick-up/shuttle service from certain hotels? Is there a time range that I need to be there?

    The hotel will be Gewan Cairo hotel or similar. You have one free transfer on the first day from Cairo Airport to our hotel, any additional transfer will be with extra cost. If you book your extra night with us we will arrange you.
