Ahmed for the balance of our tour was also spectacular. Having him arrange for all our entrance tickets and protocols made everything move seamlessly. I can't stress enough how great it was to have this all taken care of and not having to wait in line ups at every site. The boat was very luxurious, albeit the food was so, so, but the tours made up for this ten fold. The value we got versus what we paid was a steal. The guides were great and looked after us very well. Accommodation was great and food was good.. Be aware that when you are met by a representative you may get overwhelmed with the speed at which you are signed up. I literally no idea what what excursions I had signed up for except for a scribbled diagram. The tours I did go on though were very good. They were very informative and knew their history. The Gewan Hotel was very good and the staff very approachable and freindly. We added on the trip to Alexandria (a little too far at 3 hours drive and very early start), Abu Simbel( another extremely early start and 3.5 hour drive but worth it), the Karnak light show( ok but if you're tired leave it out). There are other add ons we didn't do like the balloon ride which others said was fantastic( another extremely early start but always with ballooning) and the Nubian village which some said was good others said a bit touristy. The Nile cruise will be M/S Reinassance or M/S Radamis or similar. The deposit is 30% of the tour cost. Final Payment: The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to departure, immediately if booked within the 45 days of departure.
