Hotels too far away from cities Double tracking and waste of time. Two hotels were just ok. Some day trips were a waste of time. Going to Iona took forever and no time to spend at the Abbey. Don’t think they knew what they were doing. Echo farm was of a whole day Could have stayed longer in Edinburgh. Most on the bus were complaining and were going to write to Collette. I personally would not recommend them for Scotland. Didn’t get value for money.Show more

Avoid touring with Collette. They are a lazy company that does not invest time & effort into vetting their accommodations or itineraries. They don’t actually check out the tours before they send you on them. We spent more time in the coach and back tracking than we did actually off the bus doing things. One of the hotels where we spent 2 nights was so bad that I had to sleep on the floor; NOT WILLINGLY. The bed was so slanted I rolled out. Our emergency contact for the tour was on vacation so we were stuck there. This tour company is more concerned with getting your money than completing your dream tour. AVOID COLLETTE TOURS.Show more
