14 Days in Scotland, incl. Glasgow and Edinburgh
A grand Scottish circuit through 10 cities takes you from Glasgow to Edinburgh, Inverness and remote islands. The route includes 6 castles, 3 distilleries, prehistoric sites on Orkney, with ferry rides to Skye, Mull, and Iona. Approx. $410 per day covers hotels and most meals.

- Days 1-2
Glasgow & Surroundings
Begin your journey in Glasgow during the afternoon to avoid morning traffic. Take in Scotland's largest city and its 12th-century cathedral and Georgian squares. A traveler noted: "Glasgow's 12th-century cathedral and Georgian squares offer an excellent introduction to Scottish history." On day 2 visit the impressive Kelpies sculptures and the historic Royal Burgh of Culross. Get there before 10am to avoid tour buses.

- Days 3-4
Edinburgh & Abbotsford
Spend two full days exploring Edinburgh. Book your Edinburgh Castle tickets for 8:30am opening to skip the lines. One reviewer shared: "The early morning views from Edinburgh Castle before the crowds arrive are unforgettable." Visit Abbotsford House on day 4 but bring good walking shoes since the grounds are large and can get slippery.

- Days 5-6
St. Andrews & Inverness Region
- Days 7-8
Northern Highlands & Orkney Islands
Stop at Dunrobin Castle on your way to Thurso. Take motion sickness medication before the Orkney Islands ferry trip. Be prepared for uneven ground at Skara Brae prehistoric site. A recent visitor recommended: "Book the evening Ceilidh at The Old Smiddy pub in Thurso - it's more authentic than commercial shows."

- Days 9-10
Isle of Skye
- Days 11-12
Glenfinnan & Oban
- Days 13-14
Return to Glasgow

- Days 1-3
Edinburgh and the Borders
Get to Edinburgh Castle early at 8:30 AM to avoid crowds. Spend your afternoon walking the Royal Mile and visiting Holyrood Palace. A traveler shares: "The castle views are incredible at sunrise, and the Royal Mile is less crowded before 10 AM. Wear comfortable shoes—those cobblestones are slippery when wet!" Take a day trip to the Borders region to visit Jedburgh and Melrose Abbeys. It's about 1.5 hours each way through beautiful countryside. Visit Jedburgh in the morning and see Robert the Bruce's burial site at Melrose in the afternoon.

- Days 4-5
St. Andrews and the Highlands
Drive 2 hours north to St. Andrews to see the famous golf course and medieval university. Visit Glamis Castle next. Plan 2-3 hours there since the gardens are large. Stay overnight in Inverness to start your Highland experience. Start early at Culloden Battlefield. It opens at 9 AM and you'll need 2-3 hours to explore. A recent visitor says: "The battlefield walk is exposed—bring a waterproof layer as Highland weather changes quickly."

Isle of Skye and Western Islands
Travel to Ullapool and continue to Isle of Skye through stunning Highland scenery. Cross the Skye Bridge (10 minutes) and stay in Portree for convenient access to attractions. What people love about 2-week Scotland tours
- Scottish Highlands & Islands
What a wonderful and unforgettable tour of all my “Bucket List” things I have always wanted to see in Scotland! Although this tour was almost 2 weeks long, I felt the days flew by and were filled with more history, culture and sights that will stay with me forever. I must have taken hundreds of photos. And if I ever get the chance to return, I certainly will!
- Scotland's Highlands, Islands and Cities
Thoroughly enjoyed my first solo trip to Scotland. Ian our tour director went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Both he and Stephen our driver were very professional and the tour was very well organised
- Scottish Islands Grand Tour - 14 days
This tour was managed locally by Rabbie’s and they did an outstanding job! The guides were knowledgeable and fun as well as excellent drivers. The scenery was amazing. The accommodations were all good, with all but one being excellent. There was a bit of overlap with the 3rd leg and the 1st leg of the trip, but otherwise it was perfect.
