  Do you have to pay tips for every day including the arrival and departure day and also on the days in the all inclusive hotel? And are the tips for the optional tours already included in the prices?

    The daily amount shown is a tipping kitty for the drivers and the Nile cruise ship crew only, and it totals USD 64 per person for the entire tour. Around 30% goes to the drivers, while 70% is distributed among the cruise ship crew.
    
    It is normally collected at the beginning of the tour because you start receiving services from the first day, including your airport pickup and transfers.
    
    If you prefer to handle the tips yourself instead of contributing to the tipping kitty, that is absolutely fine as well.
    
    Regarding the optional tours, any tips related to the optional excursions are already included in the optional tour price, so there are no additional tips required for those activities.

  4 of us have a tour booked (2 doubles) and are looking to possibly add a fifth person so we would like to make it a triple and a double. We notice the tour price has also increased and don't want to add on any additional costs to the 4 that have already booked with you. Is it possible to make one a triple?

    Yes, that is possible. We can update your booking from two double rooms to one triple room and one double room for the five travelers. The original price for the four confirmed travelers will remain unchanged. Only the additional fifth traveler will be charged based on the current tour price.

    The upgrade from the sleeper train to a flight to Aswan is available directly on the booking page. It costs 140 USD per person and includes one night accommodation in Cairo with breakfast, as well as all required transfers and transportation arrangements. You can also select an additional pre-tour night in Cairo directly from the booking page, and we will take care of all arrangements for your stay.

    You can simply select 5 travelers when making the booking. In the double/twin room section, you can choose either 1 traveler or 2 travelers per room. The system will then automatically ask you if you are traveling with friends and if you would like to split the payments. You can enter each of your friends' names and email addresses, and TourRadar will automatically send them separate emails so each person can complete their own part of the booking and pay their portion individually. Alternatively, you may also complete the booking for yourself first, and we can later send the remaining travelers their individual payment links and match all bookings together on our side.

  Is it possible to stay in Hurghada instead of going back to Cairo? We are also looking at the option of staying in Hurghada for a few more days. Do you guys have a better rate with the resort at the hotel that we can use to stay 3 or 4 days extra?

    1) We would like to extend our stay by 4 nights. There are 4 of us so we will probably need 2 rooms. 2) We would also like to start our trip with 2 extra nights pre-Cairo in Cairo. Is that something you could arrange for us? Could we still get a pick up from the airport 2 days before the tour starts? 3) how do we do this? Should I go through the touradar site and pay for the original trip and then you will invoice me for the additional things? 4) I know August is hot. How bad is it in your experience? Will it be unbearable and not enjoyable? We are concerned about this.

    We would be happy to arrange your additional accommodation. We can arrange 4 extra nights in Hurghada for your family. For 2 rooms, the cost is USD 160 per room per night on an all-inclusive basis, subject to availability. We can also arrange 2 extra nights in Cairo before your tour starts. Your complimentary airport pickup is still included, even if you arrive 2 days before the tour. You can proceed with booking and payment for the original tour through TourRadar. Once your booking is confirmed, we will arrange the additional hotel nights and any extra services for you. August is the warmest time of the year in Egypt. In Cairo and Upper Egypt (Luxor and Aswan), sightseeing starts early in the morning to avoid the hottest part of the day, and all transportation is air-conditioned. Hurghada is on the Red Sea, where the sea breeze makes it more comfortable. Many of our guests travel during August and enjoy the tour without any issues.

    I think we have decided to not take the 2 nights in Cairo. We've found alternate accommodations that we feel are more suited to our budget. Can we still get the airport pickup to our new hotel that is about 20 mins away from the Helnan Dreamland? If there is an additional cost to go to the new hotel, can you let me know what that would be? Are Ubers safe and reliable in Giza/Cairo?

    That is absolutely fine. If you prefer to arrange your own accommodation, we can still organize your airport transfer from Cairo International Airport to your hotel. As your hotel is different from the tour hotel, the private airport transfer will be available for an additional cost of USD 40 per vehicle. Yes, Uber is widely available in Cairo and Giza and is generally a safe and reliable way to get around the city.

    After contacting the previous operator, I was informed that the reason was due to international sanctions rules, they were unable to sell tours to Iranian nationals. I am Iranian passport holder resident of Canada (point of sale). I was wonder whether the same issue exists with your operator?

However, visa requirements and entry approval for Egypt are determined by the Egyptian authorities, and travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet the applicable entry requirements before travel.

    The USD 150 entrance fees are paid only once, not at each individual site. This amount is collected at the beginning of the trip and covers the entrance tickets for the monuments and sightseeing included in the itinerary. So during the tour you do not need to stop and pay separately at each historical site already covered within the program.
