She was very friendly and helpful, and she was very well organised. As a woman, travelling on my own, I felt very safe being guided by Sohaila and I loved every minute of the experience. I highly recommend Sohaila as a tour guide, and the tours themselves.

Pre-t…We had 2 guides as part of this tour - Sohaila in Cairo and Tamer for the cruise component (we have reviewed Tamer separately, and equally excellent). The day with Sohaila in Cairo was amazing. Pre-tour communication was clear and timely. We experienced the Great Pyramids, a camel ride and explored inside a pyramid, Sphynx and Cairo Museum and a unique Egyptian lunch. Sohaila was excellent. Her knowledge was incredible and she was only too happy to answer any questions on any topic, including history (of course), religion, life in Cairo, education, so far unanswered questions and everything in between. She tailored the day to suit us, allowing as much or as little time as we wanted in any location, as well as explained additional opportunities and organised additional tickets, etc. She was fun, engaging and ensured our experience was her priority. Our driver was also excellent – navigating crazy traffic to always be at the meeting spot with the air conditioner running! We 100% recommend both Sohaila and Holiday in Egypt for this tour.

5 Day Cairo and Luxor Holiday
I really enjoyed my tour of Cairo with Sohaila. She was very knowledgeable and so pleasant to be with. She made the experience very enjoyable along with our driver, Bob! We really enjoyed the program, although after a week of visiting temples an…This was a perfect introduction to Egypt and its cultural heritage, combined with an unforgettable cruise on the river Nile. We really enjoyed the program, although after a week of visiting temples and getting up very early most days, we needed a bit of a rest to digest it all.
Our local guides were very knowledgable and pleasant. They struck the right balance between information, logistics support and allowing us to see things for ourselves.
Our tour guide Suhaila was amazing couldn’t ask for a better tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Overall an amazing experience thank you!

We d…Very good trip, though quite tiring. We had done a similar tour nineteen years ago, and this one compared very favourably. The guides were excellent - knowledgable, friendly and very informative. We did the train journeys rather than upgrade to flights, and were quite glad we did as the flights all seemed to get delayed. The trains are old, noisy and not the cleanest (the toilets were particularly bad), but nevertheless comfortable and we got a good night's sleep both ways. One of the real highlights, which we had not done before was the hot air balloon flight near Luxor, watching the sun coming up - magical!
