Would definitely recommend it! Tour guide for Pyramid's and GEM was Sohaila Faud who was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Went at a pace that suited everyone too. Next leg sleeper train - the guys/guides that assisted at train station were amazing, looked after us with hot tea and chocolate and made sure we got on right train and settled us in. Nile cruise - 10 out of 10. Ship lovely, room decent size and ensuite, clean, staff really friendly, food - buffet style brilliant, breakfast box maybe not so much bread but plenty. Drinks good selection. What made the cruise part so special was the amazing group we were with - 12 of us in total and we were like a family. Made some good friends from around the world to stay in touch with. Then there was our guide Tamer Mahmoud - couldn't have asked for a nicer, friendly, knowledgeable guide. There was nothing Tamer didn't know and was very passionate about his job. Moving on to Hurgarda - we stayed in the Titanic Palace which was stunning. Food top class and so much choice. All the staff went above and beyond to help. Rooms massive with swim up pool. Only downside to this is it's a long way from Luxor after finishing your sightseeing 3 1/2 hrs and even further back to Cairo - nearly 6hrs in coach but so worth it. May I suggest that in the future the costs of drinking water and bathroom visits be covered by the tour company. Charge more upfront in the tour costs if necessary to do so. We’d have much preferred that. Also, the Hurghada portion of our tour was highly impractical (if not impossible) to achieve and still make our flight back home given its distance from Luxor and Cairo. If our guide had not alerted us to the complexities we were facing to make that portion of the tour happen, we’d have been stuck in Egypt extra days beyond our tour dates. - AA· October 23rd, 2025Overall I think this trip was fantastic. This was our first time in Egypt and it was truly a great experience for us. What made it great were our tour guides. Sohailia was with us for 1 day of the pyramid tour and Ahmed was with us for the remainder. Both guides were fantastic. Ahmed was so passionate and knowledgeable about everything. He truly did the most to ensure our comfort and we were so happy with him as our guide. It was organized well and we saw exactly what we wanted to. The one small complaint I do have is regarding transportation. If you choose this trip, make sure you know how much time you will be spending in a car/bus. The car rides were generally okay however our last day when we took a bus from Hurghada to Cairo, it was a terrible experience. We were left to navigate the bus station ourselves and it was an 8 hour ride on a cramped and frankly, smelly bus. I wish there was more indication of how the commute back to Cairo would be. Worth the price, the tour guide was wonderful and very helpful. The hotels that we have stayed in was excellent. Helnan Hotel in Cairo for a night, 4 nights in Nabilatan Cruise boat in Nile river and Casa del Mar resort in Hurgada. Food was really great and there are loads of wonderful picturesque view everywhere and nice water activity as well in their lovely beach. We have just finished the most unforgettable trip to Egypt with Holiday in Egypt, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The itinerary was well-balanced, and we felt completely supported throughout the journey. We began our adventure in Cairo, staying at the Helnan Dreamland Hotel—a clean and comfortable property with great service. Our Cairo guide, Suhaila, was phenomenal. She brought the ancient sites to life with her deep historical knowledge, engaging storytelling, and warm personality. Visiting the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum with her was a highlight in itself. From Cairo, we took the sleeper train to Aswan, which was a unique and comfortable experience. Upon arrival, we boarded the M/S Nabilatan for a 2-night, 3-day Nile Cruise—a relaxing and scenic way to explore the treasures along the Nile. Our guide during the cruise, Hassan, was outstanding. He guided us through temples in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor, including Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. His passion for Egyptian history and clear explanations made every site meaningful. One of the most unforgettable experiences was the hot air balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise—absolutely magical and something we’ll never forget. We ended our trip in Hurghada, staying at the lovely Iberotel Casa Del Mar Resort. It was the perfect place to relax, with great food, service, and proximity to the beach. It currently includes a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which offers a much more impressive and modern experience. Our group size is typically around 15 travelers, with a maximum of 15 participants. The resort in Hurghada does not charge for snorkeling activities at the beach — it's completely free to enjoy the beach and snorkeling there. The flight upgrade from Hurghada to Cairo includes pickup from Cairo Airport upon arrival to your preferred accommodation in Cairo. If you'd like an additional transfer, the cost is USD 25 in total.

During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to enter the Great Pyramid in Giza and visit King Tut's tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
