Could you please confirm which year you are planning to travel? I also noticed you mentioned 6 July to 12 July, which is a 7-day period, while this tour is an 8-day itinerary. Once you confirm the year and your preferred travel dates, I will be happy to check availability and the closest departure for you.

Is it possible to extend the stay in Hurghada and return to Cairo on October 7th, and if not would it be possible just to end our trip on day 7 and make our own way back to Cairo? If we made our own way back, could we extend our hotel stay in Hurghada through you?

If you upgrade the Hurghada to Cairo transfer from bus to domestic flight, we can arrange your transfer directly to Cairo Airport upon arrival. Domestic flights from Hurghada to Cairo are usually scheduled in the morning, and a 2:00 PM flight from Cairo to Amman should be suitable. However, flight schedules are subject to airline availability and operational changes. The upgrade cost for the Hurghada to Cairo flight is USD 140 per person.

We are looking to do the early August trip and there is a total eclipse on the 2nd of August and Luxor is directly on the path of totality, will adjustments to the schedule be made to accommodate this event?

If you choose the departure from Wednesday 29 July 2026 to Wednesday 5 August 2026, your itinerary will bring you to Luxor on 2 August around approximately 2:00 PM. This means you will be in Luxor on the same day as the solar eclipse event, and we will do our best to ensure the schedule allows you to experience this unique moment.

I am thinking of taking one of the tour dates in June that ends on a Monday. It shows that your tour will end at Cairo International at 5:00 p.m. I have to fly from Cairo to Rome that same day. The latest flights are at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Ending at 5:00 p.m. will be too late. Is there any way to get to the airport earlier on that Monday? My second question is if you could tell me the name of the hotel where we will be staying the first night. The reason is that I want to get there a day earlier.

The standard return flight from Luxor to Cairo usually arrives around 17:00. For same-day international flights, we recommend departure after 19:00. We can arrange an earlier domestic flight from Luxor to Cairo. This is subject to availability. This would allow you to catch your international flight comfortably. Planned hotel is Swiss Inn Pyramids Golf Resort or similar 5★ category. If you arrive one day earlier, we can arrange pre-tour accommodation at the same hotel.

Do you have any tours that go to marsa alam instead? Or have that as an option?

At the moment, we do not offer tours that include Marsa Alam, and we are unable to arrange accommodation there. What we can arrange is Private transfer from Luxor or Hurghada to Marsa Alam and return transfer if needed. The stay in Marsa Alam can be arranged independently on your side. Alternatively, the current itinerary includes Hurghada, which offers a wide range of beach resorts and sea activities within the program.

Are we gonna be together in the sleeper train cabin? Is it gonna be a private cabin?

Regarding the sleeper train in the 8 Days Pyramids (GEM visit) and Nile Cruise Aswan - Abu Simbel - Luxor - Hurghada tour, the train cabins are private. Since you are traveling as 1 adult, you will have a private cabin for yourself. The sleeper train includes: Private cabin, Dinner and breakfast on board. This is already included in your package. If you prefer, we can also arrange a domestic flight upgrade instead of the sleeper train for additional comfort. This can be added at the time of booking, subject to availability.

The tour runs on fixed departure dates. However, we have departures almost every week, so we can check the closest available date that fits your travel plan. Can you tell me how many hours, total, we will be on a bus, when we travel from city to city?

In your itinerary, the bus transfers will be as follows: Luxor to Hurghada: approximately 4 hours Hurghada to Cairo: approximately 7 hours

If we do the hot air balloon will we miss any of the tour? If we fly back from Hurghada to Cairo, what time will we arrive in Cairo and will we be transfered to our hotel in Cairo?

Any optional tours we offer will not affect the main tour program. The flight from Hurghada to Cairo takes about 1 hour. The exact flight time depends on availability. We will send you the flight details 2 days before departure.

How much would it cost to add a day at the beginning of the tour in Cairo and add 4 days in Hurghada at the end of the tour? Also what would a transfer cost back to Cairo airport at the end of the trip?

My group of 4 had a wonderful time on the tour! We saw so many spectacular sites. The temples, pyramids and cultural sites were all impressive. The level of service on the cruise, the resprt and our hotels were 5 star. Our drives were professional, on time and safe. Most impressive of all was our guides Abdulrahim and Anas. They were so great at explaining the history of our site visits down to the finest detail abd sensed when the group was a little tired or needed a little extra time. The 8 Days Pyramids(GEM visit) and Nile Cruise Aswan – Abu Simbel - Luxor -Hurghada tour with Holiday in Egypt in early May, was a truly unforgettable experience! We started in Cairo, visiting Giza pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Sohaila fuad was our guide, she was very knowledgeable and attentive, which made our visit to both places very pleasant. We then took over-night sleeper train to Aswan. Our guide Hossam Rashwan met us up at the Aswan train station, and we were off for a 4 day / 3 nights Nile cruise. As other travelers mentioned in their reviews, Hossam Rashwan was an outstanding guide, we were so lucky to have him accompanied us for a packed 4 day’s tour. Hossam was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humorous. He has been a guide for more than 20 years, has rich knowledge of Egyptian history. Hossam was also an exceptional storyteller, which made the visits to Philae temple, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor and Karnak… temples a fun and wonderful experience. We are looking to do the early August trip and there is a total eclipse on the 2nd of August and Luxor is directly on the path of totality, will adjustments to the schedule be made to accommodate this event?

I am thinking of taking one of the tour dates in June that ends on a Monday. It shows that your tour will end at Cairo International at 5:00 p.m. I have to fly from Cairo to Rome that same day. The latest flights are at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Ending at 5:00 p.m. will be too late. Is there any way to get to the airport earlier on that Monday? My second question is if you could tell me the name of the hotel where we will be staying the first night. The reason is that I want to get there a day earlier.

  The standard return flight from Luxor to Cairo usually arrives around 17:00. For same-day international flights, we recommend departure after 19:00. We can arrange an earlier domestic flight from Luxor to Cairo. This is subject to availability. This would allow you to catch your international flight comfortably. Planned hotel is Swiss Inn Pyramids Golf Resort or similar 5★ category. If you arrive one day earlier, we can arrange pre-tour accommodation at the same hotel.

  Thank you for your quick response! The last day itinerary shown on tourradar states "Hurghada - Cairo. After breakfast you'll check out and get transferred by air-conditioned bus back to Cairo. When you arrive, your tour representative takes you either to Cairo International Airport or your Cairo accommodation depending on your plans. Tour services wrap up around 5pm." However, your response references a plane from Luxor to Cairo, so I'm confused. On the last day, are we taking a bus from Hurghada or a plane for Luxor?

  The itinerary is correct. You will travel from Hurghada to Cairo by air-conditioned bus. Arrival to Cairo is usually around 5:00 PM. There is no flight from Luxor to Cairo on this program. For your international flight, same-day flights at 3:00 PM or even 6:00 PM will be tight with the standard plan. You can upgrade the return from Hurghada to Cairo by domestic flight instead of bus. This allows earlier arrival to Cairo. Or add one extra night in Cairo after the tour for a relaxed departure. Both options can be arranged based on availability. Planned hotel is Swiss Inn Pyramids Golf Resort or similar 5★ category. If you arrive earlier, we can arrange pre-night stay at the same hotel.

  What we can arrange is Private transfer from Luxor or Hurghada to Marsa Alam and return transfer if needed.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
