    My wife, and I along with our daughter and granddaughter would like to take this tour. My granddaughter is only 12. Can she go with us. It would be a tour for the lifetime and she is very mature for her age.

      Sadly, our Barcelona to Rome tour has a strict minimum age requirement of 15. For traveler's under 15, we do offer our "Family" style tours or Galapagos cruises that offer as low as 5 years.

      To be honest there can be many factors as to why they set the age limit. It can be an insurance issue that they run into, they may not think some of the activities are suited towards people that young etc.

    Do you think taking a suitcase is acceptable on this trip? 4 wheeler?

      On this trip, you must pack as lightly as possible because you will be expected to carry your own bag and although you won't be required to walk long distances with your luggage (max 30 minutes), we strongly recommend keeping the weight under 20kg.

      Smaller bags or backpacks with wheels are convenient although we recommend your bag has carry straps. You'll also need a day pack/bag to carry water and a camera etc for day trips.
