    Will the hotel be ready for us to check in that early in the morning? If I add the Alexandria day trip on, can we do that on the 7th? (The tour starts on the 8th) Or could I alternatively do it on the 8th since I believe that is a "free" day?

    Since you will arrive early in the morning on April 6, you will need to add two pre-tour nights, covering April 6 and April 7. This ensures the hotel room is ready for check-in upon arrival on April 6, subject to availability. The Alexandria day trip can be arranged on April 7, which is a free day before the tour begins.

    You do not need to wait for your flights to be booked to move forward. You can confirm the tour now. Flights can be added later. You can book the tour first and secure the land arrangements. Once flights are booked, you share the details with us. Airport pickup adjusts to your final arrival time. If your flight date changes, a change of one or two days is usually manageable. We can adjust pre tour nights or post tour nights if needed. Changes depend on hotel and flight availability at that time.

  We can see from the feedback from other travellers that the hotels offered are not always the same as the ones specified on the website so we would like to ask you to please confirm, if possible at this point, the hotels for the tour starting on March 4.

    Regarding accommodation, we would like to reassure you that hotel changes are very rare. We had only one case last week where a hotel was changed due to a last-minute booking and our usual hotels being sold out on those specific dates. For the March 4 departure, our standard hotels are:
    
    Cairo: Helnan Dream Hotel or Swiss Inn Pyramids / Swiss Inn Plaza Luxor: Jolie Ville Kings Island Resort & Spa or Steigenberger Nile Palace
    
    If any change were ever required, it would always be to a hotel of the same category or higher.

    According to the website this tour should cost €669 but the accommodation alone per person costs €837 in a twin rooms. I don't quite understand how this adds up and would like you to clarify this for me.

    We are thinking about arriving in Cairo a day or two in advance, in order to spend a little more time sightseeing. Would you be able to pick us up at the airport a day or two earlier and take us to a hotel of our own choosing? We would of course transfer to the hotel you have booked on the 4th of March.
