  We are 2 adults planning to book "Historic Horizons, Egypt 8 Days GEM VISIT". We strongly prefer domestic flights (no sleeper trains). Can you confirm which internal legs are by air on these dates? In Cairo/Giza, we prefer modern, clean 5★ hotels with a good breakfast; a quiet, non‐smoking room on a higher floor, if possible. What hotels do you usually use? For the Nile cruise, we prefer a cabin on a higher deck, away from the engine. Which ship is planned for our dates?

    Yes, for this tour the internal travel between Cairo and Aswan, and Luxor and Cairo, is by domestic flight. No sleeper trains are used on this itinerary.
    
    In Cairo, we typically use 5-star hotels such as Helnan Dreamland Hotel or similar properties. All hotels are selected for their comfort, quality, and breakfast service. We can certainly note your preference for a quiet, non-smoking room on a higher floor, although room allocation remains subject to hotel availability.
    
    The final Nile Cruise vessel is assigned closer to the departure date based on operational availability. All cruises used for this program are 5-star Nile Cruises. Once the cruise allocation is finalized, we will be happy to share the vessel name with you.
    
    We can also note your preference for a cabin on a higher deck away from the engine area, and we will do our best to accommodate this request subject to availability.

    Entrance fees are not included in the tour price. The entrance fees package is USD 150 per person and covers all sightseeing included in the itinerary.
    
    Tipping is also not included. We recommend budgeting USD 8 per person per day for drivers, cruise staff, and service personnel. This is collected at the start of the tour for convenience. Tipping for your Egyptologist guide is optional and entirely at your discretion.
    
    Most touring days start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Very early departures before 5:00 AM are generally limited to optional tours such as Abu Simbel. On the standard itinerary, you should only expect one or two early mornings related to flight schedules or sightseeing logistics.
    
    Our typical group size is between 15 and 20 travellers, depending on the departure date.
    
    Yes, you will have local support throughout the trip. Our operations team, tour manager, and guide will be available to assist you during your stay and help resolve any issues quickly if needed.

  Since it starts in January, does each day still start very early in the morning? Like what time? We don't want to take this tour if every day starts at 5AM.

    No, not every day starts at 5:00 AM.
    
    Most sightseeing days usually begin between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM after breakfast.
    
    There are only a few early starts during the tour, mainly for domestic flights and the optional Abu Simbel excursion if you choose to join it.
    
    January is also a comfortable time to visit Egypt, with pleasant temperatures for sightseeing.

Final confirmed hotel name, address, and contact details are shared closer to your arrival date. This depends on final availability and room allocation. Standard check-in time is from 14:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at reception until the room is ready. As you will arrive earlier and return from your private tour on 1 June your driver can drop you directly at the tour hotel.

When you change the travel date to 2027, the system updates the price automatically. For your selected date in June 2027 the current available rate is USD 1,450. We can apply a special discount of USD 150 per person. This will reduce the price to USD 1,300 per person.
