    The exact vessel is confirmed closer to the departure date based on availability. However, you can be assured that you will be accommodated on a good-quality, well-rated 5-star cruise ship.
    
    Regarding the elevator, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee one, as only a limited number of Nile cruise ships are equipped with elevators.

    I plan to upgrade my travel from Cairo to Luxor and from Aswan to Cairo to flights. I would like to know the scheduled flight times. In particular, I would like to know if the Aswan to Cairo flight will arrive on the 7th day with an overnight stay in Cairo, or if it will arrive on the morning of the 8th day with an overnight flight.

    There is no additional payment for the accommodation included in the tour. If you arrive on Day 1, your hotel accommodation is already included in the tour price. The option you mentioned refers to the pre-tour accommodation for travellers who choose to arrive one day before the tour starts. If you arrive on Day 1, you do not need to pay this amount.

    The upgrade from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan to Cairo is available on the booking page for US$140 per person. This includes the domestic flight tickets, the necessary transportation, and one night of accommodation in Cairo. The Aswan–Cairo flight will be arranged on Day 7, followed by your overnight stay in Cairo. On Day 8, the standard hotel check-out time is around noon.

    Since my return flight is a late-night flight on the 27th, I would like to leave the hotel after 10 PM on day 26th (day 8) and head to Cairo Airport. Therefore, I would like to know if it is possible to use the hotel for day use as much as possible without an overnight stay, or if I can delay check-out. If this is not possible, I will pay the additional $140 for another night.

    Since your children are 13, 14, and 16, they are considered adults for the main tour and for the tipping arrangement.
    
    For the entrance fees, with their valid student IDs and passports, they will receive a 50% student discount. Therefore, instead of the adult entrance fee of US$150, each child will pay US$75.
    
    Regarding the tipping, the US$64 per-person tipping kitty covers the entire tour. We collect it at the beginning to make the distribution fair and convenient for everyone. 70% goes to the cruise ship crew, including staff working behind the scenes who assist with your stay but may not have direct contact with guests. The remaining 30% goes to the drivers who provide transportation and support throughout the tour.
    
    This way, you don't need to carry small amounts of cash or tip different staff members individually during the trip.
    
    If it is more convenient for you, we can add both the entrance fees and the tipping kitty to your booking upfront, so everything is settled before your arrival. Alternatively, if you prefer to pay these amounts locally, you can also pay by card.
    
    There are no other mandatory local payments required.

    Yes, we can arrange your airport pickup when you arrive at Cairo Airport on November 26 at 4:40 AM.
    
    Please note that standard hotel check-in is in the afternoon, so early check-in cannot be guaranteed and is subject to hotel availability.
    
    For December 3, since your departure flight is at 11:50 PM, we can also arrange a day tour in Cairo before your airport transfer. Options include Old Cairo, Saqqara and Memphis, or other sightseeing depending on what you would like to visit.
    
    Alternatively, we can arrange a day-use or additional hotel stay if you prefer to rest before your evening flight.

    Regarding the early check-in, the request will be handled directly with the hotel the night before your arrival. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to confirm whether early check-in will be possible until then, as it depends on the hotel's availability on the day. The hotel's standard check-in time is 1:00 PM.
    
    We have been working with this hotel for a long time, and we will certainly do our best to coordinate with them and arrange the early check-in for you if possible. We will keep the request noted and follow up with the hotel the night before your arrival.
    
    Regarding your luggage, there is no need to worry. At all accommodations, your luggage can be stored safely and easily whenever needed, including before check-in or after check-out. During the tours and transfers, your luggage will also be handled safely.
    
    On the train, there is a luggage rack inside the cabin where you can place your luggage during the journey.
    
    For your departure on the last day, please note that the train usually arrives at Giza train station early in the morning, leaving quite a long time before an international departure. You may therefore consider booking accommodation near Cairo Airport for the day. We can arrange your drop-off directly to this accommodation, and you can then proceed to the airport at your convenience.

    The "somewhat demanding activities" mainly refer to walking inside the temples, archaeological sites, and museums. There are no strenuous hikes or physically challenging activities included in the tour.
    
    If you are generally fit and comfortable with walking at a relaxed pace, you should be absolutely fine. We regularly welcome travelers in their 70s, 80s, and even over 90 years old who thoroughly enjoy the tour.

  If we wanted to arrange our own flight to Luxor rather than taking the train, is that allowed? If we did, would you take us to the airport in Cairo and pick us up in Luxor, or would we need to arrange ground transportation ourselves? What time would the train be leaving? Of course, we'd need to pay for our own hotel and dinner in Luxor that night since the rest of the group will be sleeping and eating on the train.

However, if your friend already has a confirmed single room on this departure, we can check the possibility of upgrading her booking to a double room and add you under the same reservation, subject to availability from the hotel and Nile cruise.
