What is the cancellation policy for this tour, especially considering the current situation in the Middle East?

    Payments
    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten March 2026

Tourism operations in Egypt are currently running normally, including hotels, Nile cruises, domestic flights, and sightseeing tours. Egypt's main tourist destinations such as Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan continue to operate as scheduled.

      Regarding the cancellation policy:

      • If the traveler cancels more than 21 days before the tour departure, the remaining balance is refundable, while the deposit remains non-refundable.
      • If the cancellation request is received within 21 days of departure, the booking enters the final operational stage and the tour becomes non-refundable.

If the traveler prefers additional flexibility, they may also request a change of travel date, subject to availability and the applicable rate of the selected departure.

Egypt is safe for solo female travelers, and we ensure you have a secure and comfortable experience throughout your tour. You will be picked up and dropped back at the airport as part of your tour — this is included. The tour includes comfortable hotels, most meals, and we can accommodate vegetarian preferences. Local flights are not covered but you can upgrade to a flight instead of the sleeper train. A knowledgeable guide will accompany your group throughout the tour to assist and provide insights.

Can I speak with someone organizing the tours? I will be travelling alone from NY and I want to know it will be safe and comfortable for me. I will need to be picked and dropped to the Cairo intl airport. I need to know the updated price if I take all domestic flights instead of train. I am a vegetarian.

    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten March 2026

Egypt is generally safe for tourists, and throughout the tour you will be accompanied by our professional guides and our operations team will be available to assist you at any time. We also arrange airport pickup and drop-off from Cairo International Airport, so you will be fully assisted upon arrival and departure. Regarding your dietary preference, being vegetarian will not be a problem at all. Egypt has many vegetarian options. We can absolutely arrange domestic flights instead of the train, and we will share the updated price with you once you confirm.

    Jeffrey

    Asked on February 23rd, 2026

Regarding the entrance fees, we would like to request the student rate as all three of us are under 23 with valid ISIC cards. According to the 2026 Ministry of Tourism regulations, students are entitled to a 50% discount. Based on our itinerary, the official student fee is approximately $55-$60 USD. Could you please check this and adjust the $150 USD quote to a fair student price?

    Price / Availability
    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, students under 23 years old with a valid ISIC card are eligible for discounted monument tickets in Egypt. The USD 150 per person that we collect at the start of the tour covers all entrance tickets for the full itinerary, administrative handling of tickets, guide coordination at each site, and time management to avoid ticket queues. If all three travelers hold valid ISIC cards and original passports, we can adjust the entrance portion accordingly based on the official student rates at the time of travel. Student ID must be physical and valid. Passport must be presented at each major site. Some sites may not apply student discount. The estimated student total for this itinerary is generally higher than USD 55–60 due to the number of sites included across Cairo, Aswan and Luxor.

    • J

      Jeffrey

      TravelerWritten February 2026

To confirm the details: All three of us will have valid physical ISIC cards and original passports. Our ages at the time of travel will be 19, 21, and 22. We understand the coordination and handling involved, and we look forward to receiving the revised entrance fee breakdown based on the official student rates.

    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten March 2026

If you have a valid physical ISIC student ID along with your original passport, you will be eligible for the official student discount on entrance fees. In this case, you will pay only 50% of the regular entrance fees, which comes to USD 75 per person instead of USD 150. Please make sure to carry your physical student ID card with you, as digital copies are not accepted at the monuments.

Vegetarian meals are available throughout the trip in hotels, cruise, and restaurants. Private airport pickup and drop-off from Cairo International Airport are included. For the 14-year-old child: the child pays the full tour amount. Entrance fees: 50% discount applies for children from 6 to 16 years old with valid passport or student ID. Does Guide travel with the group in train and cruise?

    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, we can arrange airport pickup even if you arrive one day earlier. Pickup can be from Cairo Airport or any hotel you choose in Cairo. An extra night in Cairo can be arranged if needed. This is optional and subject to availability. Once the tour starts, pickup will be from the confirmed meeting point in Cairo.

    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten February 2026

In Cairo, you will have a private Egyptologist guide for all guided visits. The guide does not travel with guests inside the sleeping train cabins. Our team handles train check-in and transfers at both stations. On the Nile cruise, a professional Egyptologist guide accompanies the group for all sightseeing tours. The same guide stays with the group throughout the cruise program.

Regarding the sleeper train: sleeper cabins are available as either single or double cabins only. For a group of 3 adults, we can arrange two adjacent cabins that are connected internally, so you will have a fully private setup just for the three of you, with no strangers.

There is an additional cost of USD 50 total per way to cover reserving the two private cabins exclusively for your group.

    • Holiday In EgyptOperatorWritten January 2026

Yes, you can absolutely secure the main package first. Once your booking is confirmed and the spots are secured, we can add any extras you choose afterward, including the train option or upgrading to flights.

There's no need to book everything at once—booking the main package tomorrow morning is perfectly fine, and we'll take care of the rest once you decide.

For the Queen Cleopatra – 7 Days tour, we recommend arriving in Cairo at least on the first day the tour starts or one day before to allow time for your airport pickup and smooth transfer to your hotel. We will provide you with the exact flight details once your booking is confirmed, including the recommended arrival time so you don't miss any part of the tour.
