Was on this experince between Athens-Dubrovnik, We saw a lot off cities arround Balkan, Our guide Toni was perfect, possitive
From Istanbul to Dubrovnik FLIGHT INCLUDED Balkan Capitals & Culture Tour - Small Group TourOverall had a good trip. The guide was good but felt that we could have had a bit more info on the places we went to. Sometime he would just drop us in town and say I’ll pick you up at this time but no info on the town. He was a nice person and a safe driver and we would recommend him to others. Adjinis needs to look at the level of communication they have with the customer. We were reaching out to them as didn’t get picked up for tour of Istanbul and then put on the wrong tour so by the time it was fixed we missed half of our tour. We had to reach out to ask for info on flights/transfers etc as they didn’t provide any info for us. There was also a mix up in Meteora and we were booked with 2 guides for the tour and had one of the ladies yelling at us as we didn’t know what was happening and she was upset about it. The driver of the bus from Meteora to Athens was a nightmare!! He was driving one handed with his vape in the other and every 15-20 minutes he would be vaping while driving a bus full of passengers…. Would not recommend him to anyone! The Athens part of the trip we feel that we were just abandoned by the tour operator as we were dropped at the train station (during a taxi strike) and just left there to find our own way to our hotel and the next day had to find our own way to the Athens tour… a transfer to the hotel should have been arranged like in all the other cities and also to the Athens tour as very hard to get taxis from the hotel we were booked into. Other than that we had a good time, the hotels were central and of a reasonable quality except the Istanbul one which had multiple issues including mouldy walls (we have sent photos to Adjinis)
Istanbul to Athens: Capitals and Culture Expedition 1 FLIGHT INCLUDED - Small Group TourThis is an absolutely brilliant tour! Everything was extremely well-organised. Our tour guide (Mensur) was very knowledgeable, personable and flexible when circumstances dictated. He and the driver worked their hardest to give us the best experience. The local guides we encountered during the stops en route were all excellent. The accommodation was first rate all round. Honestly, I couldn't fault anything! The tour involved gave me a detailed knowledge of, and insight into, the Balkans, both in the past and the here and now. Thank you for everything!
