Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Avignon
You'll land at Avignon-Provence Airport where your driver meets you for the transfer into town. Check-in at your hotel starts at 14:00, so you'll have time to freshen up and get settled. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to wander around Avignon at whatever pace feels right, maybe grab dinner nearby or just rest after traveling.

- Day 2
Pont du Gard, Les Baux de Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
After breakfast, head to your meeting point for an afternoon group tour that runs about 5 hours. You'll travel in an air-conditioned minivan to see Pont du Gard, the Roman aqueduct that's really something to see in person. Then you're off to Les Baux de Provence, a hilltop village with plenty of history, and after that Saint-Rémy-de-Provence where you'll walk through the city center. Your guide fills in details about the area throughout the day.

- Day 3
Avignon Walking Tour and Popes Palace
Following breakfast, walk over to your meeting point for a 3.5-hour guided walking tour through Avignon. You'll climb up to Rocher des Doms garden for nice views over the Rhône River, then spend time at the Popes Palace, which is Europe's largest gothic-style palace. Your guide takes you through the cobbled streets and stops at Place de l'Horloge to check out the painted windows, town hall, and theater. The tour ends with a glass of Côtes du Rhône wine near the palace.

After breakfast, meet your driver at the meeting point for a 5.5-hour tour through the Luberon region. You'll visit Roussillon with its colorful houses and get photo stops along the way. Then there's a look at Pont Julien from Roman times, a drive through Lacoste to see the Marquis de Sade's castle ruins, and free time in Gordes, a hilltop village known for its distinctive dry-stone buildings. Your driver drops you off at the end of the day.

Departure from Avignon
After breakfast, your driver picks you up for the transfer to Avignon-Provence Airport. You'll need to check out of your hotel by 12:00 noon. Plan to have your driver come get you about 4 hours before your flight departs, which gives you enough time to get through the airport without rushing.
