The tour guides and drivers were very accommodating and were obviously making sure we had the best experience they could provide. There was a problem getting on the plane to Uganda. I did not have a visa but G Adventures assured me I could get one at the airport. I had to spend an extra day in Nairobi obtaining a visa and then rent a taxi go catch up with my group. They need to insure that all paperwork is done in advance and stress this in their literature. Also, there was no representative from G Adventures at the airport when we checked into our flight. This would have helped.Show more

This trip was a life changing experience. It has made me feel safe and able to travel on my own knowing that there will always be a fantastic guide and group-mates to share the adventure with. I will have these memories for the rest of my life. I also didn?t see a section to review our second Uganda CEO, Jamil. 10?s across the board. Jamil was the ultimate logistics and timekeeper of our group and was always sure we had the information we needed. While more reserved than his counterpart Luke, Jamil?s passion for Uganda?s community and wildlife was just as clear. He was always sharing information about the activities we were participating in and how they benefited the local communities?especially in regards to how Uganda had teamed up with locals to ensure they benefitted from wildlife conservation efforts and how this has reduced poaching. Jamil was conscientious and caring and always had our group?s experience at the forefront. When I felt sick after a travel day, Jamil was the one who suggested my roommate bring back hot water and lemon to our room to help me feel better which was a godsend. Jamil was a huge part about what made this experience so great and I couldn?t leave this survey without giving him proper thanks.Show more

The Maasai Mara trip provided both an amazing wildlife experience combined with look at Maasai culture. The game drive was beyond belief - there were so many animals that it seemed like something out of a movie. It was hard to believe that it was real. And the hot air balloon ride over the savannah was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I will never forget sailing over the vast expanse of the Mara as the sun was rising seeing herds of zebras, elephants and giraffes grazing in the morning light. And touring a Maasai village to meet some of the Maasai members provided insight to a culture that is so different from anything that I've ever experienced. The people were so welcoming and willing to share their culture. That type of cultural learning is why I love G Adventures so much.Show more

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
