We really enjoyed our tour, and highly recommend Golden Egypt to others who wish to see Egypt and make the most of their trip! First of all, the tour company's team communicated with us from the moment of booking and throughout the entire tour, which was very reassuring, and answered to all our questions and concerns personally. The tour guides were amazing, especially Hatem in Luxor (we love you Hatem and beautiful Queen Hatshepsut!!!) and Peter in Abu Simbel and Edfu, they gave excellent explanations and were kind and engaging, we learned so much in such a short time! The tour is planned very well, we saw all the major sites we wanted to see in only a week, and the tour company was extremely flexible and supportive to accommodate additional requests. Pick-ups and transport were very well organised with capable drivers who got us to all our destinations safely. The Nile Cruise was absolutely fantastic and a true once in a lifetime experience! The food was fresh and delicious, and the cruise team made a huge effort to put on extra decorations and special foods for Christmas, which was during the time of our cruise. I will say that Egypt as a country can feel very chaotic to travel in and having a good tour company by your side to navigate this is absolutely essential so I would definitely book with Golden Egypt again in the future. Even when schedules couldn't be met for instance because the ship was late, all the tours were swiftly rescheduled so that we didn't miss out on any of our programme, and pick-up times and guide contacts for the following day were shared with us every evening. All in all, I highly recommend this tour and the tour company, and if I visit Egypt again in the future I will definitely book with them again!

What's the best time to go gorilla trekking?
Plan your trip between June and September or December through February when the trails are driest and easiest to navigate. In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you'll enjoy comfortable temperatures between 60-77°F (15-25°C). But don't worry too much about timing - you can see gorillas all year round. Many travelers mention they had great experiences even in wet months, especially when staying at places like Nyungwe Lodge where you can warm up and dry off after your trek.
What other activities do gorilla trekking tours include?
