Great tour…..saw lots of wonderful places. Preferred when smaller amount of people on bus. It was abit difficult with changes of guides and people throughout trip. Most of the hotels were great….some were abit isolated from restaurants.
Southern France Tour - Nice to ParisThis itinerary was fantastic. There was a nice variety between small villages and castles. Days were long and required lots of walking but the experience was worth it. The bus was comfortable but I was disappointed that it did not have wifi. Our driver was fantastic, handling a big bus through tiny villages with narrow streets. There were many opportunities to enjoy local cuisine. There was little communication the first 2 days in Paris, and if I had to do it over, I would have stayed in Paris on my own, and joined the tour the morning it left for Normandy. The rest of the trip was fabulous.
French RingIn Paris, distances between the three hotels where guests were put up were too long. We wasted time and opportunities by being in taxis or on the bus getting from one hotel to another an hour or more before group was together. Tours and Marseilles were a disappointment.
