  We realized that Tourradar was not really the group for us. It was costly getting to the venues to meet the excursions. Because we're in our 70s we would never try to do that again. Th e places we visted were amazing (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles). To have our City tour delayed from 315 to 1015 was nuts. Who wants to see Paris in the dark (maybe many??:-( It was too late for us and we skipped it. I personally should not have gone to Mont St Michelle. All those steps were hard on my already hurting back/hips.Show more

  This tour was not worth the money at all. The only positive, punctual service provided was airport transfer! 1. Every activity involved finding your own transportation to the meeting place, which was next to Eiffel Tower. This cost $35/ trip via taxi, i.e $70 round trip. Yes, theoretically, metro / subway was possible, but in a strange city, with a different language, I didn't want to take a chance getting lost and missing the tours. 2. All activities were self guided, which meant that I was given an audio device and sent on my way. Specifically, at the Louvre, I was not able to navigate with corresponding audio commentary at all! Thousands of people around me - I couldn't figure out where exactly I was or what I was looking at! I was very envious of other tours around me with and actual human guide! 3. One of the activities was a city tour. This tour was only offered at 10pm, with a pre-recorded audio guide. It was difficult to see anything at that time, and I've found out that this "tour" was more of a ride to Mullen Rouge, rather than an actual tour. We were dropped off at 11pm back at Eiffel Tour - good luck finding your way back to your hotel! 4. Hotel room was the smallest I've ever seen / been to. Cost of hotel is $100/night, which is $600 for 6 nights. Tour (with additional trip to castles) cost me close to $5,000.00! I think that I couldn't have arranged very different, personal tours for $4,400! I've arranged for Tour Radar tours in the past, going to Argentina and Brasil, and that was a totally different experience, with being picked up in hotel room and personal "one on one" tours. Based on that experience, I've booked the Paris tour - and what a disappointment that was!Show more

  This was not a traditional group tour experience. We were alone in our Hotel and there was no tour guide from the company. The tours are run by a different company that operates from the street and includes different people with ever experience. We did find the Hotel to be comfortable and quaint. The driver picking us up at the train station was very helpful as was the ride to the airport. Public transportation is the way to get around Paris and to your destinations. We were given tickets for the boat ride and told to go whenever we wanted. JonathanShow more
