I confirm that the meeting point for this tour is: 18 Avenue de Suffren, 75015 Paris. However, we also offer a tour option with direct hotel pick-up, as long as your hotel is located within Paris.

Is it possible to be picked up from CDG airport? If so, what is the cost for me (mom) plus 2 kids (12 and 14)?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to arrange a pickup from the airport, as this would affect the itinerary of the entire group. Additionally, if you choose to make your own way from CDG airport, please note that the meeting point is approximately 45 minutes away (without traffic), so it would be difficult to arrive on time for the tour.

Is a French guide available?

Unfortunately, this service is only available in English and Spanish.

Our tour leader was very knowledgeable but at times, the delivery of her knowledge was lost. Why? The ear buds that come with the hearing unit are of a very low quality and my companion and I both missed more than 50% of what was being said. For those of us used to using hearing aids, this transition to tinny, echoing sounds emitting from the headsets was very frustrating. I started obsessing with looking at what other tour groups were using and saw that other groups had what appeared to be higher quality ear buds. Our tour leader did an amazing job of translating between Spanish and English but again, not being able to hear clearly made those transitions a challenge as well. Hotel accommodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts at each hotel were of superb quality and quantity. The provided dinner was adequate.Show more

We had a lovely time on this tour. The guide was knowledgeable and the sites were as promised. With that said, there were a few minor (and easily remediable) things that prevented this from being a five-star experience. The first was the pacing of the sights. I understand we had a limited amount of time to fit in a number of locations, but more time at some of them would have been appreciated. For instance, instead of three Chateaus in the Loire Valley, it would have been nice to only do Chambord and Chenonceau and have more time at those locations. Likewise, we only had about 15 minutes at the Arromanches, which was barely any time to look at the Mulberry harbors. At it stood, the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Secondly, the hotel in Angers claimed to be a 4-star hotel, but it was definitely old, small, and had some cleanliness issues. This was magnified since the hotel in Caen the night before was much nicer. Perhaps choosing a town closer to the Chateaus would help find better accommodations. In all, my family did enjoy the tour and will be recommending it to our friends wanting to tour the region.Show more

(She had her job cut out for her having to speak both English and & Spanish to our group.) The highlight for us was Mont Saint Michel, but our stops in Normandy & the Loire Valley were also fabulous. The only (small) disappointment was the accommodation in Angers-whilst the hotel was serviceable, it was tired & the room was small, definitely not the 4star we thought we were getting.Show more
