City & Culture Tours & Trips in French Riviera
The French Riviera cultural tours run for 4 engaging days, starting right in Nice's characterful old quarter. Local experts guide small groups through bustling flower markets and traditional food shops, sharing stories about regional specialties like socca and pissaladière. Beyond Nice, you'll wind through medieval villages including Èze, where the historic Fragonard perfume factory opens its doors for hands-on workshops that showcase traditional crafting methods. In Monaco, knowledgeable guides illuminate the heritage behind the royal palace, cathedral and Monte Carlo's legendary casino scene. Our cultural routes through Antibes combine visits to the Picasso museum with explorations of the vibrant market districts and local life. What sets these tours apart is their natural blend of guided learning and independent discovery - you might spend your morning on a food tour through Nice's hidden lanes, then explore Saint-Paul-de-Vence's artist workshops at your own pace in the afternoon. Our travelers consistently tell us they appreciate how the local guides weave together insights about regional architecture, culinary traditions and the fascinating evolution of perfume-making in Grasse.

What people love about City & Culture Tours in French Riviera
- European Highlights (Start London, Classic)
I went on the European Highlights tour with the absolute gems, Courtney, our trip manager and Marius, our driver. Courtney is funny, patient, and reliable. Guiding a bunch of people around the world requires a broad set of skills and Courtney has all of them. She has so much knowledge, ranging from random facts about a building’s history to where you can find amazing food at a good price. She frequently updated us on schedules to ensure that we were all comfortable and "in the know" about things. Marius is kind, cheerful and calm under pressure. It’s wild how well he can navigate any road and any rowdy driver. The organisation of the whole trip was very air-tight with exciting included and paid experiences. (Still thinking about that Tuscan Dinner.) I loved being able to see more of the world while having most of the admin stress of travelling off of my shoulders. My Contiki group was managed so well that a group of mostly strangers became a family. Such a fun and unforgettable experience, would recommend !!
- Stunning French Riviera
Awesome tour of the south of France
- The French Riviera - Monaco-Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice, Antibes
Just had a trip around Nice, France and Monaco and it was an absolutely incredible experience: - for me the best part of the trip is the walking trip in the old town of Nice with aristocratically built houses. The artistic architecture of the buildings like town hall, fountain or cathedrals and the detailed carved statues and sculptures was simply a mesmerizing sightseeing. Apart from that, one can also find themselves hypnotized in narrow, steep alleys surrounded by colourful tall houses. This is really a place for someone who loves taking picturesque photos of old time European buildings, or for someone who just wants to escape from the city life. - also to mention is that Nice has a really lovely and beautiful beach with crystal clear water. With the nice warm sunny weather, one could really enjoy swimming in the water there for hours. The bonus part of this is there is an old castle on the hill located just near the beach, from where one can take a panorama picture of the blue water beach on one side and the red tiled roofs of nearby houses on the other side, separated in the middle by a curvy road. - the walking tour around Monaco was absolutely amazing as well. My tour was guided by a really professional and well organizing British and he showed us a lot of sightseeing in Monaco, from an old classic castle with an old town nearby, aquarium museum, cathedral, casino to the bay with lots of majestic, shinny yachts docked in there. - Nice as well as Monaco also have markets that offer really nice and exquisite street food like sanwiches with ham and melting cheese or patisserie like a small but fine cheese cake with vanilla flavour. - and the hostel room (in Nice, France) was absolutely a comfortable and clean and quiet place to stay at the end of the day after the long, tired walking trip. Bonus part about the hostel is that they also have a really nice and cozy student-bar in the ground floor with lots of games like billiard, darts, table tennis, where everyone, especially young people can meet up there and have a conversation. I find it a really good place to meet and get to know new people and learn about the french culture. All in one, this is a really good trip for someone who would like to embrace the old European aristocratic architecture and take home lots of beautiful pictures of buildings, beaches, etc. or just want to enjoy a day at a beautiful beach. I personally would love to visit both places here again because there are still many things yet for me to discover! DN
