I was part of a group of 15 people. Most were above the age of 60, with only a few under 50. As a result, our guide gave us plenty of in-depth information about all aspects of religious and cultural life of the Malt0ese and the people that came to inhabit the Islands before. We visited both Gozo and Malta. This tour covered the coastlines, the inner cities and the many churches and burial sites of prehistoric settlers. We also covered the farming area and tasted local cuisine. All the hotels were quite comfortable and clean, albeit a little noisy on the weekend. I would say that this tour would be most suited to persons who love history and all the accompanying stories and details. I thought our guide Chantal had an amazing wealth of information that she shared with us daily. I'm not sure how she kept all the details in her head. As a group we shared many a meal together, so the tour is suitable for solo travelers as well as couples.
