Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Malta
You'll arrive at Malta Airport and pick up your rental car for the drive to Sliema. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore the area at your own pace. This gives you a chance to get your bearings and maybe grab dinner somewhere local without any pressure.

- Day 2
Valletta
Start the day in Valletta with an optional 30-minute harbour cruise by gondola if you're interested. From there, head to Upper Barrakka Gardens where you can catch the noon Gun Salute and take in views over Grand Harbor. A guided walk takes you past Castille Palace and Parliament Building to St John's Co-Cathedral, where you'll see Caravaggio's 'Beheading of St John the Baptist.' After that, you can attend the Malta Experience audio-visual show and optionally tour La Sacra Infermeria if time allows.

- Day 3
Mosta, Ta' Qali and Mdina
Head to Mosta first to see the Basilica with its third-largest unsupported dome in Europe, a structure that actually survived being bombed during World War II. Later, you'll check out Ta' Qali crafts village and watch artisans work at the Mdina Glass Factory. The afternoon takes you to Mdina, the old capital, where you can walk through Baroque buildings and visit St Paul's Cathedral from the 17th century, plus take in views from the bastion walls.

- Day 4
Three Cities and Marsaxlokk
Drive south to Vittoriosa (Birgu), one of Malta's oldest towns, for a stroll along the promenade and a walk through the historical center to the Church of St Lawrence. You'll tour the Inquisitor's Palace from the Knights of St John period. Then continue to Marsaxlokk fishing village where you can see the traditional multi-colored Maltese fishing boats called Dhajsa in the harbor, and spend some free time exploring the local stalls and atmosphere.

Departure
Have your final breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Malta International Airport at your scheduled departure time. You'll return your rental car and head to your gate.
