  This has been a fantastic holiday and adventure! We travelled as a family with our 2 children (12 and 13), everything was well organised and communicated. We were contacted before the trip with all the hotel details and details of transfers and drivers. We had 2 drivers on the trip the wonderful father and son team of Prakesh and Mithun. They were calm and profesional with some interesting traffic conditions and both were always happy to suggest places to eat or take us to extra places. All the guides were great providing a comprehensive and interesting perspective on the sights we saw. The childrens favourites were the safari and the monkey temple! For us Agra Fort was a real unexpected treasure and sitting next to the lake in Pokhora was magical. Given the number of stops and hotels and a few minor logistocal issues are to be expected but these were all quickly resolved either by one of the drivers or with a quick whatsapp to the company. I'd really recommend this holiday, it has been an unforgetable experience and we would happily use payless tours india again.Show more

  I truly enjoyed this trip. Everything was as expected and good. The only thing I’d improve is the first hotel in Delhi. It was not a good place to begin my journey. It smelled terrible, there was no hot water, and the breakfast area very unwelcoming. Everything else was good. My driver Vivek was amazing. He was a great driver and made sure that I was comfortable and felt safe. 5 stars for him.Show more

Our hotels were ok except for Shanker Holtel whose stairs without ramp was quite impractical for luggages to take up.Show more

  We have just completed the private Tourradar Bestseller Tour India with Nepal with the local Payless Tours. After our initial enquiry we had a few questions and requests for minor adjustments, and they were all dealt with promptly and expertly. The trip itself was organised brilliantly. Our driver, Sunil (Suni), was phenomenal in every way. Driving in India and Nepal is unlike anything we have experienced in all our travels with little care for rules of the road. A two-lane road often has three vehicles weaving in and out side by side plus tuk tuks and motorbikes. It is not uncommon to find vehicles and motorbikes coming towards you on the wrong side of the road. Having grown up with the system Suni is an expert in handling every situation. One thing visitors need to be aware of is not to judge distances and driving times by western expectations. As an example, one 200 km stretch in Nepal took us 7 hours. On a day-to-day basis Suni was more than just our driver but was a guide and informant. For specific monuments or tourist attractions we were met by local guides and Suni seemed to know them all. We have huge respect for Payless Tours making complicated arrangements ahead of time, but it was Suni who navigated us proficiently day by day. On out last day in Delhi we had a different driver, Rohit, who is also an expert with the crazy traffic. To be fair, to us it seems chaotic, but for local drivers it is totally normal and they do have a system that seems to work. We had encountered Rohit once before as he had previously met us at the Nepal border. He was amazing and without his help we would have had serious problems navigating the immigration system. In summary, we have nothing but praise for Tourradar and Payless Tours and highly recommend them for anyone considering visiting India.Show more

  We did the Bestseller Tour India with Nepal with Pay Less Tours, and overall it was a great experience. Our driver was an absolute legend, super cool, friendly 😎. He was reliable, relaxed, and added a really positive vibe to the trip. We especially loved Nepal, it was definitely a highlight of the tour. Pokhara was incredible with its relaxed atmosphere, mountain views, and beautiful lake. We also really enjoyed the safari at Chitwan National Park, which was an unforgettable experience and a nice change of pace. Would definitely recommend the tour anyone wanting to visit these places on a private adventure.Show more

  Firstly, our trip to India and Nepal was great. We saw so many sights, experienced 2 different cultures and ate Indian and Nepali food. Wonderful! Our driver and sometimes guide, Prakesh Sharma was very good. He drove us through heavy traffic and over some terrible roads with patience And safety. He is very personable and a good person to spend time with. He always put our wishes first. He is also very caring. When Carol got sick, he didn’t go off duty that night until the Dr had left and we knew she would be OK. We do have some suggestions: 1) Limit your departures to one or two a week instead of every day. That way you could make Sure there are enough travellers to fill A bus and not be sending people off 2 at a time with a driver. While there are pros and cons to being on a bus vs a driver, we were expecting to travel by bus and would have preferred that for the sociability of meeting other travellers, if nothing else. We also expected that there would be a guide with the group for the whole trip And not different guides in different cities. Some of the guides told us that Tourradar doesn’t pay them and they depend only on tips. This puts pressure on the traveller to tip more than they really want to. 2) Don’t take people to Ele-jungle outside of Jaipur. A much better experience( and less expensive) would have been to ride on an elephant up to the Amér Palace at Jaipur. 3) you state in your website that travellers will need about $200 US for expenses. You clearly state the things that are extra( elephant ride, safari at Chitwan and plane ride over Kathmandu valley). However, the way the tour is described, it sounds like at least some admissions are included. in fact, none were. We spent more like $500 On admissions and meals. When you say that we would be having supper Chitwan at the lodge, it sounds like it is included but it is not. While nothing in India or Nepal is very expensive and it was not a big hardship to pay all the admissions, we felt quite mislead by your description of the tour. We had no complaints about the hotels we stayed at. One thing about the itinerary I would suggest would be to have 2 nights in either Chitwan or Pokhara and reduce the # of nights in Kathmandu from 3 to 2. Having the flight from Kathmandu to Dehli at the end was good since it takes a very long time to travel a given distance in IndiaShow more
